How do you prevent burnout?

I've been introduced to the world of internet marketing a couple of weeks ago through another forum and have been building a strategy which I'm going to test this month, nothing major a few sites on a couple of different niches but I know the hardest part will be to keep going even if I fail and stay motivated enough to learn something from the tests

So my question really is how do you guys manage to stay motivated enough to keep on going without burning out and quitting?

You just have to get away sometimes and search for inspiration. For me, it was walking along the beach today (Half Moon Bay). But inspiration can come from unlikely places. My best advice is to get away even when you feel pressure. Do it anyway and plan some cool things to do.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I've been so focused on getting started that I've been feeling the stress lately, I'm going to start switching the computer off every once in a while and get away.

Nature and lots of it. If your burnout stems from online frustration, get off the net and re balance your life. Even if you have a bunch of sites producing lots of money, how successful are you really if you are constantly glued to your computer.

Stay focused on ONE product, system, training at a time. It is common to get overwhelmed with information overload and get nothing accomplished. Stay focused.

There are a few ways to do this. The main thing is to be productive when you are doing your internet marketing work. That seems obvious but you'd probably be surprised how much time is wasted reading forum threads about stuff that is completely unrelated to your business model, checking emails, reading blog posts, etc.

The next thing is to stay on track with the system you are implementing without jumping from method to method. Lastly, it removes tons of stress and burnout when you hire out jobs that you personally hate doing. It will cost you a little bit of money of course but the peace of mind is worth it.

What both jzmoore and slade just said is exactly the key to preventing burnout...obviously getting away always helps in general. Nature is really good for your health but the key is to manage your time and energy.

Stay focused on one step at a time and one website at a time.

Once you get it set up and making money you hire people to do it for you and you can relax or focus on building a site in a huge niche where you can make a LOT of money.

Also a good little trick is to either work on your website right after work or right when you wake up.

This way you can use all of your energy to focus on your website and spend the rest of the day knowing you're one step closer to your goal.

I tend to go against the grain it seems.

I work on multiple projects and take breaks from one to work on another. This gives me the opportunity to not get burned out.

The difference is that I know that all of these opportunities will be profitable in the long run, so I can work on an Android app and then backlink for my affiliate review site and then take a break to work on my ad campaigns for mobile phones.

When I first started blogging and freelancing it didn't take much time for me to burn out and quit.I was away from these for about a month. All of a sudden,I accidentally read this article by Pat Flynn-smartpassiveincome.com/one-year-after-getting-laid-off-my-annual-passive-income-report/

    It was a great inspiration
