I had a client who runs a site about EFT Tapping Techniques. So I wondered what will be its results to me. Did anybody tried this out already? It would be great to share some ideas about it.

I've never tried EFT myself, but one of my mentors (Christian Mickelsen) who makes seven figures swears by it. So, maybe it's worth a try for me and you both?

    Peace,

I use EFT from time to time.

      Pretty good.

The creator is Gary Craig, he retired this year. Here is the site:

      http://www.eftuniverse.com/

There is a guy who has some interesting vids in youtube related to eft and money, David Childerlay. If you watch the vids in order (older first), you can see what eft did for him. Here is the channel:

      YouTube - davidchilderley's Channel

and here is the blog, the eft section:

EFT emotional freedom technique - David Childerley's Blog

he is a lot into Abraham Hicks imaginary, Law of attraction, and stuff like it.

I use EFT and also recommend it to my IST students along with meditation.

I have noticed, over the years, that the students who use all three methods - IST, EFT and meditation move along the procees much faster than the students who use IST only.

          They complement one another.

The meditation lays a strong foundation, EFT works on phsical/mental level and IST on a different mental level.

                Hey,

I have a Master's in skype so I was taught to be enormously
                skeptical.

But man, I personally tried this and it works.

ALSO, on the advanced training DVDS there are in depth videos
of working with PTSD people in a Veteran's Hospital that had been
                there like 5 years.

REALLY hard core stuff they had been in therapy with for years.
                And they made massive improvements.

OK not to a scientific standard but really impressive.

                Marlon

I see... that is a sales letter, still doesn´t say what it is.

I guess it is a collection of methods you put together and gave a fancy name?

                It´s ok... no argument intended.

                If it works, cool.

It is a very simple technique based on the fact that we are nothing more than a collection of belief system. With a free initial session I help the student find out for themselves which belief system is responsible for a particular behavior and help them resolve it and overcome any limitation. I have to stress here, it is not a traditional hypnotherapy or psychoanalysis.

Although the report is an introduction/sales letter, at the end of the report I offer the students a free one on one session so they can try and see for themselves if it works for them or not.

Ok, so you put the flashlight in the set of beliefs, bring them to consciousness and take it from there.

still don´t know what IST stands for...

found something interesting in the same line though:

this lady uses physical strength response to identify the rooted beliefs. Awesome. This is new to me used this way...

we work a lot over this from the "inner child" model.

IST stands for "Instant Self Transformation". I named it that way because most of the time when a student takes up a beleif system for the free session all it takes to deal with that belief system is just one session. The student does not have worry about it anymore.

Thanks for sharing the video. The techniques might be different but the concept is the same.

The strange thing about human mind is what works for one person does not work for other or not as well. Simply because we are unique. The real change/transformation comes from within and the students have all the answers all along. All we do is help them find the answers when they have difficulty finding them themselves.
This is a process of self rediscovery and anyone can do it if they really wanted to.

once you put the flashlight on a belief and the person is ready, the acknowledge of the situation is instantaneous.

Now, the person need to be on third chakra state (the moment where we look inside and we are ready to know ourselves) or will refuse to see in some cases.

the other element is that if the belief is tied up with survival instinct, or it is part of a bigger package, the knot will be more difficult to untie.

If the person is in the right moment, and the belief is isolated, then the reprogramming is very simple. Just an affirmation, projecting intent, talking over with the inner child, or whatever the symbolic system you are using, does the trick.

I have a question, do you have a questionnaire you follow to identify the set of beliefs and how they are interconnected?

                          Yes and No!!!

Every session is unique. Nothing is set on stone. It all depends on how the session progress. It is 100% dictated by the student's agenda not the other way around as in traditional systems.

ok, but it not there were I go...

you want to isolate a belief or set of beliefs to work over, you need some starting point, a set of questions that will explore some basic areas and refine from there.

                            or not?

most of the more complicated beliefs belong to the dark side, I call the dark side the part that we don´t see (it is not an evil thing) so you need something to hang from to get there and put the flashlight in the right place. makes sense?

f you can´t / don´t want to talk, I understand. Just say the word and I shut up

Of course that is what happens in a successful session. But you will never know how a session will progrss. The traditional systems tend to belief/assume that the teacher has the answers and try dictate the course and direction of the of the session. In my opinion, that is why the traditional systems fail in most cases.

Oh... I have no idea about the traditional system. In my group we assume that each path is individual and the main goal is to find that unique proposition. That once a person develops, he/she will become the single biggest authority in that particular thing that condenses gifts, wants, desires and the spiritual path.

Everyone else are there to help and validate, but the path is a lonely one. And no one is more important than the others, as we are all seeking the same and helping others.

We have been having interesting breakthroughs in the 5 months we are working on this together.

I've experimented with EFT and can say it definitely helps, temporarily. Depending the size of your issue (in energy form), it brings a feeling of relief to anything you hold in fear for an extended period of time which is different for each person. Like anything in life, I believe if it works for you and you stick with it - it will produce a lasting positive result overall. Funny thing is once you "tap, tap, tap, tap" away any issue, more will come to the surface to be healed. It reveals the inner-strength you hold within to face larger challenges in life.

I learned from a teleseminar with Brad Yates as the instructor for EFT (there 8 points to tap ranging from your face, collar bone, under arm and top of head -the crown). 12 minutes and you feel the relief from whatever emotional challenge you recall.

                                  Cheers

I have been using EFT and the Energy Therapies in my clinic for about 10 years now.

The results have ranged from spectacular to so so.

The beautiful thing about ti is that it is completely empowering to the individual, you have access to it 24/7 without the need for a therapist to guide you through each session.

To my knowledge is is one of the simplest forms of breaking down blockages in your energetic field that I know of, second only to an amazing technique by Siliva Hartman called Emotrance.

I would not suggest that it is a "cure all", I have yet to find one of them .
It is a powerful addition to your emotional toolbox that will help make the journey a little smoother.

The added bonus is that it works on physical pain and discomfort as well.

                                    Cheers
