Internal Drive on Overdrive

I used to think motivation just came to you, and so as a result, I was never really motivated. I believed that something on the outside had to motivate me, then I could organize my physiology in a way that created a result called motivation, or internal drive, but then I started to do the one thing that we're actually starting to learn to do as a species, learn about myself and how my brain works.

I learned that turning internal drive on overdrive, simply gets you to engage massively in high performance activities. You know, the kinds of things that get you results. In your world, of internet marketing, I'm sure you guys (and gals) must be doing a lot! I couldn't imagine, and for that I praise you. Doesn't it help to have an actual strategy to create the grand finale of fireworks in your head to get you to start going crazy, massively producing and creating avalanches? Heck yea! Here's a strategy:

GET INTO A PEAK STATE! State is induced by language. The way you communicate to yourself, in your mind, and in your body, is a big contributor to what we call "state." State is defined: A specific set of values, in a persons physiology, neurology and biochemistry that gives rise to their subjective experience of the world and themselves, as well as their behavior at any given moment." Kind of strong? I thought so too, so here's the short version.

State: The mental and emotional condition you're in at any given moment.

We've got:
  1. States of Frustration
  2. States of Anger
  3. States of FLOW
  4. States of Total Creativity
  5. States of Peak Performance
  6. States of Integration

And more. If you can learn to put yourself in these states, and then you do it everyday, you actually build new neurological pathways (it becomes a ton easier). State is everything. We know 90% of what we know about the human brain, only since 1997! That's crazed! So we're coming from a paradigm where we don't really attempt to control and direct ourselves much, to put ourselves in the condition in the moment that we want to be in. Guess what? That's Dunzo! The new breed of entrepreneur, is what I call a "self directed human." It all starts with learning yourself, training the patterns that serve you, and building massive internal drive by practicing getting into powerful states. By the way, massively powerful states are characterized by rapid brain firing, or gamma brain wave activity. Ever watch a great football player be in the zone? Better yet, remember the last time you felt untouchable? It's a state, and it can be triggered, just like if I say something that ticks you off, angers suddenly arises! Make arise, what you want to arise. Give yourself the gift of training this into your body, and I promise you a different experience in life! Turn internal drive on overdrive! Thanks for reading everyone, keep kickin butt.

Really enjoy your posts Ryan! I know for a fact that by thinking certain thoughts I can and DO affect my mood. I’ve experimented with a number of times to know it’s true.

What is needed is the ability to bring those thoughts to mind along with the mood and feelings they bring also. NLP and Anthony Robbins say it best when they tell you to bring those positive thoughts to mind and touch a spot someplace on your body. Then do this over and over and over, until all you have to do is touch that certain part of your body and you’re instantly in the state of mind you want and need to be in.
