A little Mind Trick That I have Used When I am Down.

Hope this helps....
Working for yourself has a lot of advantages.
but.....
It also has it's disadvantages. One of the disadvantages is that you can never really talk to anyone that will understand when a deal is lost or when you are having a bad day.
At a 9 to 5 job at least you can go to lunch with a co worker and vent.
I know a lot of you are in relationships and you are lucky in that repsect because they can hear you out during the tough times.

But I have a little trick that I like to use for a pick me up. Here it is: (hope you guys don't think it is silly)

I always like to make an easy sale of one or two dollars that I can make so that I can get some positive energy from a grateful client. It works for me because I get to make someone happy and it is also great for business as well.

Eduardo

I am curious as to what you guys do for a pick me up.

Happy Holidays everyone.

it's good that you found the trick to lighten up yourself when you're down. it is important that you're happy when you work. it is important that you don't have that heavy feeling when working. well, if venting out feelings is one of your concern, maybe you haven't noticed but forums serve as quite an absorber. LOL. kidding aside, i know a lot do some blog hopping or online shopping to set the mood or to lighten up. others watch those funny uploaded youtube videos -- this helps really.

All that matters is you do what makes you feel good. I visualize all my rewards and great memories.

I have a couple of songs which I like to listen to to really get me happy. I try not to listen to those songs when I'm normally listening to music because then they become special and I only hear them when I'm trying to rev myself up!

Whatever puts you in a good and positive mood.

    Here’s an NLP trick:

After you make that sale and are feeling good, rub your palms together fast and say out loud, “I Feel Fantastic”

If you do this every time you’re feeling great after some time the simple act of rubbing your hands together fast will put you in that “feeling great” state. It’s not necessary, but to really make the change also say the “I Feel Fantastic” statement with the movement too.

Your best allies against stress are a healthy body, a nurtured mind and a postivie mindset. There are natural ways to achieve this. When you find yourself feeling burned out because of work destress through exercise. You can also destress and uplift your spirit by getting a hobby. The more your ife starts to revolve just around work, the more stressed you become. Inject some fun into your life by taking a hobby. Lastly, sorry if I keep reiterating this, take a break. If yu don't take regular breaks, you'll work yourself to death and your health and overall well being will suffer.

I like listening to some Brian Tracy or Tony Robbins cd's

Health, Wealth and Happiness training pretty much...

These two are virtual fountains of knowledge and their passion and positivity are
truly uplifting, not to mention that every word out of their mouth seems to ring true to me.

Everything they teach is backed by loads of research and testing and has been proven to work. There is just something so comforting about science. A body in motion tends to stay in motion--What goes up--2+2=4... If you want to succeed and be happy--you must study success and happiness and these two are my go-to guys Much Knowledge...Brain Candy...

There are no secrets to success--they say--but the secret for me was finding someone who inspires me to be the best me...

And if you listen to them while walking your dog in nature with a huge grin on your face
you're sure to have a positive experience...

      Happy holidays everyone!!!
