Want to win the lottery or other financial miracles? Read this first...

One of my subscribers just emailed me this:

"HELLO MIKE, can You please let me know as to how to get some cash or as to How to win from a Lotto Ticket all I need a WINDFALL of about $ 250,000 so that I can solve all my Financial Problems for the rest of my Life. Do You have any magic or a Miraculous Idea..."

And this is my reply to her (which has been taken from an article I have originally written):

Many people think that they have to accept whatever life throws at them. They'll say, "This is my fate, my destiny. I cannot change it."

Of course not!

You don't have to suffer needlessly. Your destiny depends on you, not on any other external factors.

I know someone who says she just accepts what life gives her because she has done everything she can to improve it.

Guess what her lifestyle is?

She wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes back home, relaxes, chats with people, watches TV, then goes to sleep. Next day, the same routinary cycle ensues.

Huh?!? Is this what she calls "doing her best?"

She believes she has tried her best and just accepts it in her heart that this is the life that God has intended for her to live; that her luck can only change if God wills it.

Of course God wants us to be happy and live our life to the fullest, but we have to do our share of exerting the effort to live the life of our dreams.

You reap what you sow.

You just don't sit around and wait for a million dollars to fall from the sky. You have to get off the couch, get your eyes off the TV screen, get your hands off the phone (unless it contributes to your success), and get your mind and body to work!

If your life is not meant the way you want it to be, don't just say: "Our time will come." or "Things will get better some day."

Don't expect your luck to change, unless you do something about it. If something goes wrong, don't just regard it as a temporary setback; but use it as feedback. Learn your lesson, make the most of the situation, and do something to resolve the problem.

It's not enough to think positive; you also have to act positive.

If someone's life is in trouble, do you just hope and pray that things will turn out fine? Of course not! You got to do anything you can to save the person.

So it is with your own life. It is not enough to hope for the best, but you have to DO your best. In other words..

Don't just stand (or sit) there, do something to improve your life!

Am I being too harsh with my reply?

    Not all all Michael.

I call upon the Quaker Wisdom: Pray and move your feet.

You must feel positive than move into inspired action. It might mean starting a blog, buying a lottery ticket, whatever. You simply need to do it immediately after feeling inspired because the universe loves speed.

    Thanks for sharing!

Michael you are so right. If I hear one more person say “this is how thing are”, “they are so lucky”, “the rich are a bunch of thieves”, “this is what God meant for me”, and on and on and on. Excuse after excuse, whine after whine, all they can do is complain. If they used the amount of effort they exerted in their complaints and excuses they would be billionaires.

Instead of watching TV read a book or watch an educational video, instead of the video games learn how to create your own, instead of doing nothing productive pick a goal and work towards it.

I firmly believe you are where you are today because you chose to be there. The choices you made in life got you to where you are today. If you don’t like where you are or what you have in life then YOU have to change, not the rest of the world.

God helps only those who help themselves. You did what's right MICHAEL LEE. One day, she'll thank you because you cared enough to say what has to be said. She needs to hear it to wake up and keep moving. She has to be responsible with her life and her choices. If she chose to be lazy and happy go lucky, that's her choice but there are consequences that need to be faced. She has to be responsible for her actions.

You are correct, but unfortunately some people go through life always blaming someone else. The ones that accept criticism and take charge of their lives are the ones that succeed.

^I agree 100%. And if I were to answer the letter, I would have said the same thing. Life is what you make it. And you cannot blame other people for the failures that you have to face. Everytime a misfortune hit me, it is always easier to put the blame on others but I always remind myself that nobody is answerable for my actions except me.. just as i am not answerable for other people's actions.

              Three words:

              Law of Contribution.

Your willingness to give must be equally proportionate to your desire to receive.

              BAM!!!

I agree, some people feel it's wrong to receive. To them being happy and having money seems wrong... I don't believe that if you give then there is nothing wrong with receiving and becoming wealthy in the process.

  • Running WSO on to our community earns ten folds for a life time than the lottery.

I also agree... only if we work hard to achive our goals, the destiny will help us.

If we work hard on something to earn money without expecting lottery wins or such things we will get them unexpectedly. But if we stay until they come to us we will never get them.
