Making myself accountable.

I have problems focusing and following through on a task I tell myself I am going to do. I have an easy time fulfilling commitments made to others. I think I have found a way to capitalize on this characteristic.

I am making an accountability blog. This will be a blog following my journey from my current financial state to my goals. I am monetizing this blog, but I do not want you to buy anything from it.

What I would like, is for the mind warriors, who understand the effect of positive thinking and encouragement, to comment on my blog posts and help inspire and motivate me to reach my successed. I would also like you to call me on my excuses and cop outs. I want to be 100% accountable to the things I say.

Please visit my blog at www.trilliondollarjourney.com and comment. You would have my undying grattitude.

Thank you.

Putting your goals out there like this is a way to help keep yourself to task. If you don’t keep your goal/promise, you will have not only yourself to answer to but many others.

Thank you for checking out my blog.

Pradiprg, I thank you for the encouragement. I do dream big, after all, if you shoot for the moon, falling short means you've landed on a star.(This is an old expression I heard, I know the stars are further away than the moon)

Scortillion, that was exactly the point. For some reason, I don't put much weight on things I tell myself I will do, but if I tell someone else, I strive to follow through.

I know as long as I keep my vision clear and keep taking action, I will reach my goal, and I also think it will serve to inspire others in the same or similar situations.

Goals have come to mean something that you don’t have to keep. Too many people make New Year’s Resolutions that are never kept, this conditions people to believe goals are nothing more then something to say you’ll try and not something you’ll achieve.
But if you promise yourself or someone important to you that you will do something and make sure people know about it and that you will be held accountable then your subconscious will work with you to help you achieve the goals you want to achieve.
