My website could use some critiquing

Hey everybody, I know that this may sound silly, but I think my website could use some serious critiquing. I have been in the affiliate marketing business for a while (since July), and have been promoting lots of products, including ebooks on a variety of topics, online retailers, etc. And although I have gotten lots of impressions and clicks, I have yet to start getting sales and a good conversion rate going (currently it is pretty much 0%), and am not sure how to go about to boost my conversion rate even by 1 or 2%. I want to continue in this internet marketing business, but it has been about 4 months for me, and am starting to think about quitting unless if I can start getting sales in, but am not sure how to go about doing so, and so I feel that my websites could use some serious critiquing. Since I haven't made at least 15 posts yet, my website urls are in the signature. Any advice would be helpful.
Here are my questions about the site that I am curious about:
-what do you think about the site?
- what is going for the site?
- what could use some improvement?
- how can I boost the traffic to the site?
- how can I get at least a 1 or 2% conversion rate going? Anything I could be doing differently with my site to better boost the conversion rate?
- are there key words I should be including in my meta tags that I haven't used
- any advice and help would be appreciated.

well, considering that nobody has replied to this thread yet, maybe I could assume that my website is perfect and that I just need to get more traffic.

    Ryan,

If you'd like we can discuss it live. A written reply woiuld fall short of effective, in my humble opinion. I see a few areas of concern, but also would need some clarifications. PM me if you'd like to exch #'s...by the way I have a Seattle #.

    Cheers,

first of all that snohom.... book store. Jesus dude, how is anyone EVER going to remember that name?

Next... your website ryansjones.com... whats with that background. Looks silly... almost as if an 8year old made that shit.

Your first order of business is to make everything you do look PRO. If you don't know how. grab a program called XSitePro

it's what I use and i barely know shit about HTML.

Next thing you want to do is make a proper business funnel. In fact draw
out a business plan if you haven't already and put it to use. infact post it here and let ppl read it over.

And from experience for the first 90 days don't expect to make much sales. Infact i didnt make my first sale till 45 days in.

Last but not least... don't give up. Spend some $ on a product or on coaching from the gurus, then IMPLEMENT. put that shit to USE, the payoffs are worth it.

    Some good ones are:

Ive been through most of them. great stuff. the knowledge is priceless.

Hope you took my advice to heart. Im blunt but these things will DEF help you out.

    good luck.

You know, I am actually now making a few new websites, including an alternate version of ryansjones.com and redoing the snohomishpromotionnichemarketing website into more of an ecommerce website
