Running Into Tons Of Problems? Celebrate

Resistance increases as the goal nears.

You can replace "problems" with "opportunities", for each moment is an opportunity. What we sometimes judge to be problems are the most blessed opportunities.

I've encountered strong resistance in the form of a few select people in the past. In the moment these people angered me but in time I saw our encounters as the blessing of blessings. If I didn't meet these people my blockages wouldn't have been introduced to me. I would have carried the thoughts of self-doubt, anger, jealousy and other negative emotions that were blocking my prosperity.

With each successive encounter I learned grace, compassion and most of all, that the person's perception of me had everything to do with them and nothing to do with me.

Each bout of strong resistance was followed up by a breakthrough, without fail.

Remember when things appear to be getting more difficult awesome things are lining up in the background. That supposed a-hole you ran into just taught you a valuable lesson, readying you for your next stage of development.

So do you celebrate resistance?

Sometimes these people that seem like they are trying to block you give you the desire to keep going to prove them wrong, like “I’ll show them!”

I’ve been there myself, at the moment you are angry with them and upset that they are trying to keep you from your goal. Only later to realize they were the reason why you pushed through the “problem” you were having…

Certainly, these folks can be awesome motivators too.

I've used more than one person who formed massive resistance as fuel for the fire.

Great point LD, that is diffidently a fantastic way of looking at it.

Awesome stuff Rye! That's a great way to language it, and it creates different feelings and mental representations as well!

When I think about "celebrating resistance," I see better images in my mind than just "use resistance to your advantage." Because we're influenced so heavily by the images we flicker in our minds throughout the day when we reflect on things, this has a massive impact! Cool deal RB.

I agree, you have to ask yourself who knows you better, you or someone else? Only you know what you think so decide to think the way you need in order to succeed. Use whatever you can to make it happen, through out the rest.
