Pulling From Eben Pagan

I've watched him all over the internet and I must say, the guys knows what he's talking about. I've never really engaged any of his programs but based on listening to him talk, and getting tons of free stuff from him, he's a pretty squared away guy.

I'm a hunter of greatness in people. I call this "patterns of genius." I believe that this guy is full of them. Just watching him talk, I for example (because I speak in public as well) can pull micro movements from him.

I also love how he talks about psychology, when talking about business. I believe that business has everything to do with psychology! He also gives incredible pointers in things like time management, taking mini breaks during the day while working and tons of other very cool micro-distinctions.

Anyone else learn anything valuable from Eben Pagan?

Oh yeah dude, I've learned a ton from Eben. A friend of mine lent me a couple of his full programs and they are MASSIVE. I actually didn't even get through all of the content because there was so much...but I agree.

I like how he speaks normally and doesn't do any of the douchey "professional speaker" moves that annoy the hell out of me. He doesn't need to because he is clearly a smart guy and a very good business person.

He is obviously so successful because how much he studies, tests and implements. He provides great leadership for entrepreneurs who want to bring their vision into reality.

The real challenge is being able to match the results he has produced. 1 in a million will reach that level (I'm ball parking of course, maybe 1 in 500,000 lol)

    Nice post as always

Ebens skill is his ability to distill a subject down to it's essence. Then repackage it into a big product with his words and sometimes the original thinker and charge you a fee to learn ! That was not said in negativity but observation.

His wake up productive course is really from the book "the power of full engagement". A good inexpensive book. He makes mention of this though.

Get Altitude was a game changer to me in the IM niche. Well it goes beyond just IM in my opinion. It is more like a interview type deal on steroids with great thinkers from different backgrounds.

Guru Bootcamp is the best to me. He demonstrates how he does it by teaching it. If that makes sense ! Each piece of his material is a self contained concept.

His teaching style is a mix of Wyatt Woodsmall and another guy. Which is great and he even has Wyatt on some of his training. They are suppose to be coming up with a product. The four learning styles. Why, what, how, what if.

And his products come from "you". People will tell him what they want to learn through surveys and him asking. Then next thing you know he has a new product out that people wanted and will pay for. He reminds me of Jay Abraham. Jay will take something from one industry and apply it to another. That is how I look at Eben.

His teaching is beyond just IM. Two things. Creating value and packaging. He is excellent in those departments. And the cool thing is that it's a skill we all can cultivate.

This is absolutely it! Just listening to him talk, and taking the time to really engage your mind in thinking about what he is saying, has profound power.

I pretty much owe everything to Eben Pagan (although I prefer to call him David DeAngelo ). I started off with his ebook Double Your Dating, which completely changed my life. At first I was only interested in the dating stuff, but--as you know--he also introduces a plethora of books in his programs, so after hearing Think and Grow Rich for the 20th time, I just had to go to the local bookstore and get a copy. And as you might guess, Think and Grow Rich, in turn, led me into another different world...

Very Awesome! Sometimes all it takes is one sentence in a high performance book to activate our brains! Awesome response.

I'd liken him to Wikipedia, because as others have said his real skill may actually be taking whats cheaply available out there already and either applying it somewhere else, or translating it into an easier to understand format. He even manages to use that to increase value because he continually references the books/coaches he's getting info from, so by the end of his programs you have a decent list of sources for any topic you may want to go more in depth about. He's clearly very widely read and informed.

I also like Jay Abraham but there's definitely the sense that Eben understands the internet better. Plus many of Jay's better known programs are a few years back now and some parts don't age well, whereas Eben pumps out fresh content every year.

Wake Up Productive was my favourite of his products with Self Made Wealth number 2. Connected/Get Ignition/Get Altitude/Print Persuasion all solid products too but I wasn't really in the target demo when I listened to them.

I actually found some of his later David D products a little too convoluted and dull.

I know don't if anyone has said this in the past. But I consider Eben Pagan trully being a genius.

If there is someone that NEVER stops to amaze me is this man.

I know him very well, because I stumble across him with his DYD products.

The all of a sudden he expanded his knowledge in all areas.

He clearly defines what can you do with you unlimited potential.

He is a very charismatic guy, and I think his communication skills is his specialty and the reason why he has achieved so much during all these years. His study on dating is probably the cause of his aplha charisma. There is something about his voice, laid back posture and verbal skills that trigger the costumer.

Well, to be perfectly honest, his teaching style doesn't exactly match my personality type. And I'm sure I'm not the only one, as I've heard other fellow internet marketers mention this.

I found it hard to stay awake during a whole DVD of his Get Altitude program.

BUT it's true - he does know his stuff!

What persuaded me to go through his seminars and take notes was something that happened to a friend of mine a few months ago.

He did a successful $7,000 launch in only a few weeks. So I asked him "What gurus do you listen to? What should I study if I want to duplicate your success?". He mentioned 2-3 big name marketers apart from Eben Pagan, but his advice was this:

"Stick with Eben Pagan, man. Is he boring? Yes! Does he know business? H*# yes!"

So I agree. Once you understand and apply those (more or less) abstract principles he talks about, it can really take you to the next level. I've gotten a lot out of his seminars.

I've learned a lot from Eben.

(Including helping me be the best person I can be with his information products.)

Something he has is an "abundance mentality." (I suppose.) Instead of competing with people in the dating/seduction niche, he joined forces with them and used them as guest speakers in his seminar trainings.
