THE TRUTH ABOUT INTERNET MARKETING FAILURE!

My great concern is not whether you have failed in your Internet marketing endeavor, but whether you are contented with your failure. I can accept failure, everyone failed at something, but I can't accept not trying again in achieving your dreamed Internet marketing success. In another words, every man fails, champion simply get up and begin again. This is because failure is the only opportunity to begin more intelligently.

    Hey,

    Thanks for sharing this at WF!

    I totally agree with you. You can't have one without the other. Almost every successful person has seen some bad weather, some more than others. It doesn't matter who you are you are going to run into problems, but it's up to you too learn from them and keep pushing.

    What makes a real leader and successful person is someone who's always looking for ways to develop. I no longer fear failure, because I know it's what's going to help me develop and get on the right path.

    Thanks again!

    God bless,

    This is why most people are broke right now. They never ran the "extra-mile" to achieve success. And for the IMers is not different at all. At least a lot of us keep struggling to make a lot of money online....at least struggling, never retired.

    Being in the IM world for a while, I reckon there is no Failure. You just found out what is not working, so need to keep on going and find what will work. And the good news is, something working perfectly fine yesterday may not work today. Therefore keep learning.

    Marketing is about putting the right message to the right group of people. And find out what the right group of people are doing is the key to get their attention.

      "something working perfectly fine yesterday may not work today" as you said, is one of the many ways that an IMer could experince failures. As a result, he needs to "get up and begin again" in another direction in achieving his/her IM success.

      It's easy to make an excuse when you fail at Internet Marketing. Excuses such as:-

      It's too technical... I Don't have time... I can't afford it...

      Let me tell you right now if you make excuses like this you are doomed to fail from the start.

            The fear of failing once or twice shouldn't stop too many people, but unfortunately most give up after about 3, and few keep going.

            I don't think the fear of failing at any single thing is that scary, the fear of trying for a prolonged period of time, until you start to judge your sanity, and everyone else already does, that's when you really become scared about whether or not you can really pull this "online success" thing off.

            Fear of what your friends and family are starting to think, fear of going nuts, fear of trying forever without getting any positive results, etc.

            I, think they are the biggies.

            You are generally wasting your time seeking advise from friends or family, since they are not creating a path through the jungle, they won't understand where you are coming from.

            And since only 1 - 3% are wealthy, you will mainly encounter people that will knock your efforts.

            It is great to have forums like this for feedback and encouragement.

            Frank Kern summed up the great secret to online success, which is persistence. Keep trying regardless of anyone or anything and success is virtually guaranteed.

            Greatness is born out of failure, and strength of character, which is born out of adversity is necessary to achieve greatness!

              Great points there. This remind me of Calvin Coolidge quote on persistence:"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."

      Great point of understanding. This is because the only people who failed at the end of the day are those who never try again and surrender to failure.

    I have to agree with you! There is WAY too much talk about failure and if that is what you are feeding your subconscious then that is what it's going to focus on. Ever since someone wrote a book about failing fast so you can succeed people have been grabbing on to that theory and reciting it as if it's a mantra.

    Someone took this notion and feed it to the people so they could make money, pure and simple. Granted everyone runs into obstacles, but to focus on them and "failure" is to invite it into your life. The subconscious works on what it experiences every day when those events are accompanied by strong emotions.

    If you are focused on failure and get physiced about failure then you better get use to a LOT more failures. Instead accept the obstacles and setbacks as learning experiences and then do just that, LEARN from then and DO it again. NOT TRY, but DO... (Think of Yoda here people)

    I know a lot of people have embraced this failure belief as some hidden secret, but it's just opening you to one more obstacle to overcome.

        I totally agree don't look at as failure but as a chance to perfect what you are doing. What you focus on is the key here.

          That's true, but unfortunately convincing yourself that you will have a million dollars in the future is easier said than done.

          I tend to scrape together pictures of what l want, then take a look at them every day.

          Even though reality reminds me l am not where l want to be, l know that seeing and convincing myself that l have a BMW Roadster in the driveway, etc can only help.

          Then keep trying until something works, (which it will eventually will).

          I suppose what l am trying to say is there is no need to totally convince yourself that the BMW is really there, just affirm it enough to keep trying regardless. Then eventually, the universe or your subconscious, etc will give you the gold nugget that will turn everything around.

          Staying motivated enough to keep going is the key to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

          And staying motivated enough to keep going when things go from bad to worse, remember common sense says if you continue to try new things online, and change if something doesn't work, regardless of how fed up you are with your results and your wife telling you that this won't work, etc, then success is a certainly.

          Most become successful online in about 3 years, if you work on it full time, probably 5 years, part time (or less if you get lucky) to make it.

          I know that it took me about 3 years, to find something that works, and there were times that l couldn't imagine finding something?

          But as l have said above, successful people keep going regardless, that is why they make it.

          Shane.

          This is a profound observation!

          I also believe an important factor is - what you look at as failure? At what point does one give up and quit?

          in my book, Failure is never "Failure" until one quits. Until then, you are trying to make it work.... and if you are persistent enough and determined enough you will make it work. Then you will not have failed.

        I have had to hold onto the wisdom in this poem by Rudyard Kipling so many times... but never more so, than the last 12 months, 95% of which is behind me now. And yes... I am back... finally... it was the hardest lesson this time... but with tenacity... and the right attitude, I believe ANYTHING is possible Enjoy...

        IF

        IF you can keep your head when all about you
        Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
        If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
        But make allowance for their doubting too;
        If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
        Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
        Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
        And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

        If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
        If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
        If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
        And treat those two impostors just the same;
        If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
        Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
        Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
        And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

        If you can make one heap of all your winnings
        And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
        And lose, and start again at your beginnings
        And never breathe a word about your loss;
        If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
        To serve your turn long after they are gone,
        And so hold on when there is nothing in you
        Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

        If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
        ' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
        if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
        If all men count with you, but none too much;
        If you can fill the unforgiving minute
        With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
        Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
        And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

    People need to learn from their failures and make sure not to repeat the same mistakes again. Just because you fail at one thing it doesn't mean that you should quit, but do not repeat the same pattern. Try something different, something that you're passionate about. We need to fail in order to learn in many cases. I have failed a couple times, but it has helped me learn what not to do and how to better manage my time and do things that will be profitable.

    I don't believe in "failure." Everyone keeps talking about "failure" and I don't know what it is. "Failure" is not a part of life. There are easy learning experiences, and challenging ones. That's all. And the challenging ones almost always provide much more learning value.

    It's not possible to "fail." You won at birth. You got born - that was the big test, and you passed. All you have to do now is learn, and that can happen as part of every experience, if you're open to it.

    I've been called a "failure" by others at times in my life. I don't know what those people are talking about. They are referring to some belief I don't share - so good for them. No skin off my nose.
