3 Tips to Help You Become Inspired

All action should be inspired action.

Busy work moves you in a circle. Inspired action moves you directly toward your goal.

Try these tips to become inspired:

1 - Exercise

Exercise. Moving your body can help to move your mind.

After engaging in physical activity my consciousness tends to be flooded with at least a few creative ideas.

Elevate your energy to enter a different state of vibration, when in a high state of vibration creative ideas knock at your mind's door.

2 - Meditate

My best ideas pop up when not thinking or doing.

If you lack inspiration you simply block the flow of infinite ideas that heads in your direction 24-7, 365.

Meditating dissolves these blockages with ease.

3 - Visualize

Picturing your dream life creates the picture.

Generating the emotions of living in your mental picture attracts whatever is needed - inspirational ideas, people, etc - to create the picture.

The line between inspiration and desperation can be razor thin. Try my techniques to see how they work for you.

What do you do to become inspired?

RB I believe you hit all 3, body, mind and soul. I've been missing exercise as of late and really want to get back into it. In Janurary I'm going to be putting a gym in my basement so I can get back into the physical part.

With out all 3 you just don't feel complete.

    I would add one more.....

Eat healthy. Seriously, you feel better when you eat better. The better you feel, the more motivated/productive you are.

Veggies, fruits, no fast food, cut down the amount of soda you drink.

      Great tips. I'd add:

Dream or vision boards...create a tangible and visible board of what you want your life to look like...the cars, vacations, houses, if desired the hot wife or husband, etc. Simple project that doesn't require art skills, can be carried out with poster board, glue stick, scissors, and magazines but very powerful.

      Good luck!

I agree, I eat stemmed vegetables 4 times a week and feel good, when I go a few days without doing that I feel sluggish.

So eating correctly is defiantly highly important.

    Great adds guys.

Eating healthy, creating vision boards and lol'ing are super inspiration builders.

You would be stunned how powerful laughing out loud is when it comes to creating a happy, healthy and wealthy life. We are magnets. When you laugh, you attract more situations that create laughter and lightness. I neglected laughing hysterically for a long time, to my detriment. I attracted serious conditions that made me feel serious.

Now I watch at least 30 minutes to an hour of 30 Rock or another comedy each day. I soak in the whit and howl. I attract less serious situations and more circumstances that bring laughter and it keeps me entirely light about my day.

I read someplace, I believe it was Anthony Robbins, that someone who was very sick watched comedies nonstop and basically healed themselves. I always remember this as it demonstrates the power of the mind.

Yes, I read this in the Secret yesterday. Somebody with a supposed terminal illness spent 3 months doing nothing but watching comedies and laughing their a** off. Fully cured. The emotions are the driving forces of our world.

Your feelings bring you more of the same.

I don't think anyone here has mentioned the importance of sleep. There wasn't a lot of it in THIS household during the holidays, and I found myself unmotivated and unable to focus on my work..

Of course, there's the danger of TOO MUCH sleep, but that's never been a problem for me.

I use to work a 7 day rotating swing shift, plus overtime. I did it for 18 years then the company closed and I got a joby working 7 to 4:30 5 days a week. After two months I realized how bad off I was without sleeping correctly.

    Hey Ryan,

Thanks for sharing the awesome thread!

I find these tips very useful. These are great tips to help you become inspired. The 3rd tip happens to be my favorite, because I always visualize myself in certain situations. I think people ned to have a crystal clear vision of where they want to be in the future. I don't think you should just live in the moment. That okay sometime but, you always have to look at the bigger picture.

    Thanks again!

    God bless,

Good tips. Another one would be sleeping. Don't know why, but while I sleep, I think of how to solve some problems and the solutions are often very practical.

Thanks for the tips.. Exercise and Meditation is probably what I gotta work on, also been trying to "eat right" as my diet is going too great. But enough sleep is definitely important as you will need to let your mind "rest" while you sleep.

Visualizing is probably the one thing I tend to overdo lol, I visualize too much and then get lost in my thoughts and end up not taking any action. Until I snap back outta it that is

I cant lie. All those 3 things play an active role in my life. Especially exercising! I LOVE hitting the gym and feeling the pump. I love visualiing as well. It lets me know where I want to go and sometimes it helps me to create a clear path in getting there.

What do I do to become inspired?

When I get bogged down, I find that doing any task, even low level ones, will help me get back on track.

Sometimes I have been so down that I just sit in front of the computer. Its tough some times to get revved up but just sitting and rotting is not the way to go.

All tips are excellent, thanks for starting this thread.

Does anyone believe that it easier to achieve the day to day things if we have a feeling of 'life purpose'. It nearly fits with number 3, ie. visualising our ideal situation, but falls short of emphasisng the importance of being clear about ones life purpose.

I'd be interested to hear others thoughts on this too.

I still believe in laughter and humor to live a healthy life.

I agree on that, there's nothing like a good laugh to give you loads of inspiration! What I also do is I just get off the pc and go for a drive or to the grocery store etc. and when I'm back I'm ready to continue my work.

I believe it is easier to achieve the day to day stuff, though I don't think precisely about the purpose, but the way I'll get to that purpose, and I always think waaaay ahead of time and plan my steps. I disagree when people say I should be living for today, I always look ahead and into the future ( sort of like my own version of "looking" outside the box ). This really helps me with day to day tasks.

      Cheers!
