Light Work Beats Hard Work And Smart Work

Does that statement agitate you?

Chances are you're working too hard.

Effort means effort. It means expending energy. It definitely doesn't mean hard work.

I study dynamos like Thomas Edison and Commodore Vanderbilt. The men made fortunes. They created like crazy. They were inspirational. Despite their accomplishments both men attracted a multitude of health problems, legal issues, domestic turmoil and a boat load of bad karma. They never mastered the art of living a rich life. They used force to make things happen for extended periods, and force negates. There is nothing wrong with what they did but I don't care to align myself with problems by using force.

I'm careful to imitate both men in select areas. I've learned to work WITH people, forget about the competition, and create with Infinite Intelligence as my co-pilot.

A person gifted with an unlimited awareness and brain power that is absolutely astounding was not designed to slave like an ox for years on end.

When you are light about your work it becomes infinitely easier to attract prospering ideas.

The people who seem to make money with a minimal amount of effort are masters at being light about their work. Instead of slaving for days on end they attract money-producing ideas with great ease and put them into action immediately, rarely stressing about the outcome.

Some people work intelligently, yet they still strain and strive. They feel it takes months, weeks or years to earn a substantial living or reach goals. What this crowd misses is "How" they're working.

In The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace Wattles stresses that getting rich is not about doing certain things but by doing things in a certain way. That certain way means doing light about what you do. It means proceeding with a vision of your dream life in mind. It means having absolute faith that you mental picture has manifest.

Does this take mental effort? In the beginning, yes, because we are conditioned to work under a straining and striving type vibe. We study dudes like Edison and believe we should slave like beasts, forgoing sleep for days or weeks to create. This is not necessary, and it usually results in health problems, domestic issues and a shortened life span.

Eventually it becomes easier to be light about what you do when you practice. When you hold this predominant vibe for an extended amount of time inspirational ideas, people and money come to you with less and less effort.

It's almost like magic, and it all happened because you were light, calm and peaceful about your daily acts.

I've become more of a manifestor recently and less or a worker. I put effort into what I do but I am very light about it. Subsequently I attract inspirational ideas, people and whatever means are required to make my goals realities. All with a minimal amount of physical effort.

This took a serious leap of faith, but isn't that what life is about?

What are your thoughts on hard work, smart work and light work? Do you realize whatever you bring your attention to each moment of your reality, creates your reality?

Like someone said, work smarter, not harder. I agree if you work so hard that your health and spirit suffer. You want to be able to achieve your dreams and then live them.

I've seen far too many people retire only to die a few years later, if not sooner. I always said your health should come first then happiness. I place health first because without it everything else becomes more difficult, so why not prevent one obstacle if you can.
