Is anyone using a VA (Virtual Assistant) ?

Hi,

Is anyone using a VA that helps with writing content, link building, SEO and drive traffic ?

I can't seem to find the time for all these activities.

If I can get someone to all these tasks for me for say $100 -$150 a month, that would really help.

They can work part time. I don't think I have enough work for a full time anyway.

Any ideas ?

I have a firm that works for me on a part time basis. They work 4 hours a day and 6 days a week and they have been very effective. They charge between $180 to $200 a month for a part time basis. If you want to know more let me know, not sure if I'm allowed to put up their details on here.

I'd like to know what the company is. As long as it's not an affiliate link you can post it here.

    Hello,

Have a look at First Page Websearch (FirstPage Websearch - Virtual Assistants - Cheap Quality Virtual Assistants - Philippine Outsourcing). You can hire a VA on a part-time basis for around your budget.

I've used them and was happy with the service.

    Yours,

    Andy.

If you want quality reliable support then you should be trying any of the Virtual Assistant Networks and place a request there. You'll get several VAs responding to your request. Just google Virtual Assistant Network to find heaps of VAs available.

Try elance or odesk, but understand that if you're paying peanuts, you're going to be getting someone who has English as second language. If you're OK with that, there are tons to be found.

I have had plenty of success with EasyOutsource. It is specifically geared to Philippine workers. I posted an ad last year and up until now, I have hired eight people. You have to be very specific when posting your job requirements as many people will apply, but are not interested.

I find it best to request them to PM and I specifically ask questions in the posting. If they can't PM me with answers, then I delete them from the process.

But the point is, there are many skilled people on the site. And many more today than when I started looking for the first person last year.

Well I use a couple VA's for the different sites I have. Here's a list of the 3 I use, I found them all on the Warrior Forum by the way.

Hire Virtual Assistant for SEO Services, Internet Marketing, Website Promotion, Backlinks Building, Data Entry, Article Writing , Video and Software submission - globolstaff.com

Philippines Business Process Outsourcing Services - Offshore Outsourcing Services - Call Center Services - BPO Services Company - 123 Employee

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors...ge-google.html

The prices vary on all 3 but I find them all to be highly effective and they all have great customer support. Normally I ask for a daily report so I can see what work was done each day but that's just me, I like to stay on top of things. Hope this helps.

You can find VAs for $3 or less an hour on oDesk. BPOVIA is about $10 an hour. For content writing services, I'd go with Eastern European writers or Filipino writers; I've had to correct their writing far less.

    Good luck!

I have 2 personal assistants from Odesk. They do wonders for me. I would highly recommend. For article writing, I have not had huge success with Odesk. I use The Content Authority They provide me very good articles. At 1 cent per word, they do a great job. This way, I can write 100 articles for $400 monthly. Then spin them into thousands if I want to. They save me a lot of time because I only have to provide the keywords.

DONT USE FIRST PAGE, VA'S! THEY MIGHT HAVE CHANGED THEIR NAMES TO APEX NOW, THEIR OWNER IS JAKE, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS, AND THEIR WORKERS NEVER SHOW UP FOR THEIR SHIFTS, AND IF YOU COMPLAIN THEY DONT ANSWER YOUR EMAILS.

Have you tried outsourcing to the Philipines? I was told that this is a good option to consider, as they are cheap and pretty much reliable workers too.

All you have to make sure of is that one of your requirements is that they speak a good standard of American English. Once thats done, get them step by step instructions how to carry each task you need them to execute. Thats it.

      Hope this helps somewhat.

      Best wishes,
      Kev

    Hi there

I've been outsourcing for a year now and learned a great deal from my mistakes.

    Top tips

Get yourself ready before you hire
Dont feel sorry for your employee, some will come with all sorts of excuses for not working
Establish a list of allocated times if you are paying by the hour - you need to know how quickly you expect your VA to write an article of say 400 words or how many backlinks they should create within an hour
Its a good idea to let them know the criteria

Best of luck, it can work out really well when you are prepared and have good communications and reporting set out before you get started

In regards to finding the best sites/resources for finding and hiring Virtual Assistants, you can either go the Do It Yourself (DIY) or the Done For You (DFY) route.

    Going the DIY route:

    1) Check out Virtual Assistant Forums such as VirtualAssistantForums.com and VaNetworking.com. Virtual Assistants from around the world hang out on sites like this to network and exchange ideas. You can go on there post your job request.

    2) Check out Freelancing sites such as Odesk.com, Elance.com and the great thing about sites likes this is that you can get to review the feedback left for the providers and ratings on similar work that they have completed.

    3) Make use of Job Boards like and if you are specifically looking to place ads for Philippine based Virtual Assistants, check out Jobstreet.com.ph and BestJobs.ph. Just be ready for a flood of responses.

    Going the DFY route:

    1) Virtual Assistant Placement companies such as Zirtual.com and VirtualStaffFinder.com for a one time fee will help you find a VA who matches your requirements and can get the job done.

    2) Virtual Assistant Services Providers are firms like ContemporaryVA.com. AskSunday.com and HireYourVirtualAssistant.com (full disclosure - this is my firm) who provide Entrepreneurs with a team of Virtual Assistants and also project managers to handle all you time consuming business tasks so that you can focus on what really matters in your business.

My final point is that even though you find a Virtual Assistant to help implement the work, you have to realize that you have to monitor and manage the process so that you get the outcome you want. It's never going to be totally hands off don't believe the hype! That said when you hire the right VA, or team of VAs they will make your experience pleasant!

I have a free tool that you can use to create a TO-DO list so that you clearly know what you need to delegate to a Virtual Assistant? Do you want me to send it to you?
