Lesson From A Kindergartener?

A family who had moved to a new neighborhood got a late start one morning, and as a result their six year- old missed her bus to school. Though it would make him late for work, the father agreed to take her to school if she would give him directions.
They left their neighborhood and the young girl began directing her father to take one turn after another. Following twenty minutes of zig zagging across town, they arrived at the school, which turned out to be eight blocks away. Steaming and visibly upset, the father asked the kindergartener why she had him drive all over the place when the school was so close to home. "We went the way the bus goes," she said "That's the only way I know."
If you really want to maximize your journey on your highway to success, you need to make every action count. You must determine where you want to go and how you're going to get there. You can't be the person who's clueless on where they're going and what it's going to take to get there.
people who are undecided about what they want to do or where they want to go cannot tap into their strength. As a result, they simply drift along. You've removed most of the roadblocks to success when you know the difference between motion and direction.
Have you asked yourself what you really want to do? And have you determined that you will pursue it against all odds, despite the obstacles, and regardless of the circumstances?
Being intentional is about focusing on doing the right things moment by moment, day by day and then follow through with them in a consistent way. As John F. Kennedy stated "Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction."
