Those people you know who've achieved a high level of success or those surging their way thru life the way you wish you had didn't wait for everything to be perfect to move forward.

They took initiative.

They've come to understand a simple but powerful principle in business, especially in network marketing: momentum is their friend. Taking the first steps forward makes everything else a little easier, but it starts only after you've taken those first steps.

You see, initiative is the first step to anywhere you want to go. Where you finish in life isn't determined by so much by where you start as by whether you start. If you're willing to get started and keep initiating, there's no telling how far you might go.

Another thing about initiative is that it also closes the door to fear. To fear is one thing. To let fear grab you by the tail and swing you around is another. We all have fears. The question is whether we are going to control them or let them control us.

Inaction is not only the root, but the cause of fear. But as the saying goes, "action is better than no action at all!"

The biggest reward initiative will give you is that it will open the door to opportunity. Benjamin Franklin once said "To succeed, jump as quickly at opportunities as you do conclusions." People who take initiative and work hard may succeed, or they may fail, but anyone who doesn't take initiative is almost guaranteed to fail.

I'll be willing to bet that you have a decision you should be making, a problem you should be solving, a possibility you should be examining, a project you should be starting, a goal you should be reaching, an opportunity you should be seizing, a dream you should be fulfilling.

No one can wait until everything is perfect to act and expect to be successful. It's better to be 80% sure and make things happen than it is to wait until you're 100% sure because by then the opportunity will have already passed you by.

Are you fantasizing about tomorrow instead of focusing on what you can do today?

Desire isn't enough....good intentions aren't good enough...plans aren't enough...unless they are followed with action.

Do it now!
#initiative

Yes I am and it's because I took that first step and didn't wait for anyone to hold my hand and show me the way. Everything I write about is from experience and I'm willing to share with anyone who's open to receiving it.....

I like to use the 3 second rule.

When you think abotu doign something or want to do something, in your first 3 seconds, do SOMETHING that takes action towards that goal. If you decide you want to make a niche blog, in your first three second, head on over to godaddy and start researching a good domain name. Even if you dont end up buying, just motivating yourself to take action and take the intiative goes a long way!

    Nice post!

I strongly believe in taking actions towards achieving greater and better things in our lives.

This reminds me about the moment I decided to write my 1st article to Ezinarticles.com. You can't believe that it took me 1 WEEK to finally click on the "submit an article" button. Before that, every time I go to ezinearticles.com, I open up Facebook, and Gmail too for nothing. I felt bad 'cause I knew I must do it but I didn't.

Finally, after 1 week, I forced myself to sit down and wrote my first article's title. It took me 10 minutes. And you know what, after crafting out the title, I thought I'd lifted out a heavy stone on my chest. That article cost me 2 hours to write But now it costs me only about 35-40 minutes. It's been 1 month now, and I've written 25 articles.

So I have to say this to fellow warriors, especially to young warriors like me, when you want to get things done, just begin to take your very first actions. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to do big stuffs at first. Try to accomplish minor things first. In my situation, crafting out your first title is a good beginning.

Every achievement takes root from actions.

So act now, don't hesitate, we are WARRIORS
