I am very pleased that the huge project that I've been doing for the past 4 weeks had it's first sale yesterday, and that is before I've started promoting it and also before I've done a proper sales page 
I like this feeling, I could definitely get used to it.
It was only £97 but it will mean that I've almost broken even on this project which was actually to get my profile raised in my industry and also to create my first 'product'. So I'm very pleased.
The project is a telesummit about the effects of trauma (I can't post links yet but if you google trauma telesummit, you'll find it).
There are 21 speakers, some of them are leaders in their industry, all talking on the main topic of 'Removing Your Inner Blocks To Success'. It's free to listen online, each audio will be available for 24 hours. However, to download the audios and to get the PDFs that go with them, you have to upgrade. Once the 'live' event is over, it will be promoted as a product that can be downloaded instantly.
I wanted to ask you if you knew anyone that would be willing to feature this event in their newsletter. Do any of you have a list that is aimed at the self development/coaching/energy therapy market? I am offering affiliates 50% commission, so if you were happy to promote it with a piece in your newsletter you would get 50% on anyone that decides to upgrade to the paid product.
Also, how to I go about finding out where to do a solo ad to a large list within this market? Would this be doable on a very small budget?
I'm very excited that things are finally start to happen, I realise that compared to some of you this is only small fry, but it's a big deal to me
Do any of you have any ideas of how I can utilise this product and use it in other ways (a membership site for example). I have about 15 hours of content rich audios in my possession and also, quite a few other people who missed out on the deadline for the telesummit but are happy to be interviewed by me in future. I want to grow this into something BIG. I just don't know how at the moment.
