Some Self Realization, maybe it will help you too

Hello everyone,

Recently, i have found myself in a slump mentally and physically. It was degrading my lifestyle and hindering my efforts, and for some reason i did nothing to stop it for the longest time. And if it were not for the observations of others, i may never have snapped myself out of it. For which i am eternally gratefull to my girlfriend and my family.

But, what i really wanted to relate to everyone; mostly those finding themselves in that same mental state as i was.

If you are trying, then you are not failing.

If you want something, go at it with all your energy until you succeed. Then work harder.

The difference between those who will succeed, and those who fail is how they embrace setbacks.

Do not do what i did, and lock yourself into a spiral of bad thoughts and let it get out of control. I should have known better, if from nothing else then from my experiences in the military. Self doubt and pity are not acceptable excuses for inaction, if you have something else to try and energy left in your body then do something. Anything. Seriously.

Yesterday evening i made my second sale, ever of a clickbank product. A fact which should have filled me with joy, and had me scrambling to figure out what i got right to replicate it. Instead, i did nothing until this morning when this realization hit me.

At any rate, i think i have rambled on enough. I hope perhaps that someone will read this and take away something that will help them.

As someone who has witnessed others' in negative spirals, pat yourself on the back for being able to hear the truth and take the advice of your girlfriend and others -- that is no small feat!

Congrats on your second sale and congrats in advance on your third!

I agree. Develop a plan and act on it. The feedback you receive from your own actions trumps what you'd get second hand.

Looking at it as a learning experience and not a "failure" per se, frees you. You never know for sure what's going to work. All you can to is plan, act, and evaluate (repeat until desired outcome is reached).

I probably have never seen better evidence of how true that can be until last night. I went to bed a couple hours after writing the OP, but before then i took some of the new found positive energy i had and tweaked a couple of ad's i have running currently. Nothing serious that i can think of, just some simple optimization.

I wake up an hour ago, and have 200$ in affiliate sales sitting in my paypal acccount. Hows that for the power of positive thinking? It may be, and probably is a fluke. But ill take the encouragement of a fluke any day

After coming out (and in many ways still coming
out of...) a few negative setbacks in life, two things
    I have learned is.

    1) Life Goes On: Remember nothing in life is
permanent. The situations you face today are subject
for total change tomorrow. Even in nature do we get
to experience the transition of the four seasons throughout
the year. Never fret on your current setbacks, always keep
your eyes on the bigger prize and do whatever you can to
take one step closer to that direction on a daily basis.

Eventually you will find the gold you are looking for.

    2) Live and Learn: Don't take life too seriously - or you will
never learn from it. One of the biggest components of the human
psyche that I see as a major possible setback is the "ego". Never
let your pride stop you from going with the truth.

Never let your pride stop you from reaching higher levels and
learning more. Remember, the sky is the limit so no matter how good
you become there is always room for improvement.

This forum can be your catalyst for change if you use it
    right. Cheers!
