**Im AFRAID of Fear. WTF??**

Im the type of person that absolutely HATES being afraid of anything. Its one of worst feelings in the world to know that something, which in reality does NOT exist, can have a bit of control over my actions. Example: Learning to ride motorcycles. The bike only does what you make it do. I promise you that. Just get a good teacher, get on the freakin thing, and GO. As with all things its only gonna get easier. Fear is good, is helps keeps you from making stupid mistakes sometimes. It exists for a reason. But the purpose I CHOOSE for fear, is to make me more powerful by facing it whenever I can.

Constantly challenging your fears is great but fears cannot be limited to riding motorcycles or heights alone. Fear can also be associated with dealing with an unknown future or death of a love one - fears which you cannot necessarily face at will.

Watching the video with Tony Robbins,Frank Kern, and John Reese . Tony robbins said something you can almost miss. it went along the lines of instead of fearing what may happen if you do something and Fail. Fear what will happen if you don't do something.

It's about 15 seconds in the 30 minute video . so it is easy to miss.

Often if you are fearful of something it is not because of fear of failure, in my experience, but fear of success, especially if this will make you massively 'different' from those around you... It can also be a subconcious fear of losing hope, i.e. 'at the moment I hope I can make $3k pm with IM, but if I never actually really DO IT and find out if I can, then I still have the hope, but if I try and it fails, I lose hope' - see? However if you try and it doesn't work, either keep tweaking, ask someone, or try something else!
There is no failure except being too scared (fear) to try...

Don't be afraid of your own shadow!

It's true, a lot of us experience fear on a daily basis, they can be nagging doubts and fears and they can control you and lead you to failure unless you learn to control them.

Here's one for you, though. Is anywhere here afraid of success? Afraid of truly making it?

I think that fear of success can be even more powerful and real in a lot of people's lives than the fear of failure. It may sound bonkers but there's truth in it.

I agree. The rich is a minority because a lot of people do not believe they can be rich, and fear success. They are not willing to come out of the comfort zone, think short term, and prefer wages to profits.
