    Just be patient, Angelguy.

I promise that the dark time will pass soon.

I know because I've been depressed and suicidal many times. Something I like to do is put on some “soothing” music and lay in bed asking for help from Jesus. Many times I've woken up feeling much better.

Think of all the amazing people throughout history who would have never made it if they gave up. :-(

On her 30th birthday Florence Nightingale wrote in her diary that she saw nothing desirable but death. Abraham Lincoln took to walking the woods alone with a gun and talking of suicide.
Many people have been there and as far as I know none of them regretted choosing to live.

There's a story about some people who decided to commit suicide together by jumping off a bridge. However they misjudged the height and ended up breaking a couple of bones. According to them, the moment they jumped, they regretted it.

There are many things in life worth living for. Making new friends. Falling in love. Overcoming your challenges. Being wealthy. Bathing in the sunshine. Talking with your family. And about a million other things.

Even though I've been in some very dark places, I'm glad that I never committed suicide because now my life is great. (And I look back on it as a learning experience.)

So please don’t give up. :-(

Find your passion and live it. There are so many opportunities you can take advantage of. 20$ could make you a millionaire with all the knowledge available on this forum alone...

      i am making no money,

A temporary condition that can be cured in time

      high in debt

Take an honest look at why you have such debt and how it came about. If debt can't be paid - it can't be paid. People do it all the time.

      lost my job

You have a lot of company with that one. It means you look for another job - or two part-time jobs - and you do whatever people will pay you to do.

feel like i should just jump off a bridge to end it all

I can understand when people are in tremendous pain or trapped in grief - but running away from money problems is not a good reason to give up on yourself. It's a challenge to be met - and a crisis to survive.

Money isn't worth "ending yourself". Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, look at what alternatives might be available ...and survive.
Sometimes having a good life means you have to get into survival mode as long as it takes to make your life better.

I can tell you from personal experience you'll never know how much you can do without until you do it. You'll never know how much pain you can take until you determine to fight through it...and it does get better.

Get a grip - or get help.

        Kay,

Often, it's not the circumstances themselves, but the way the person is thinking about them. So saying "Make more money" doesn't actually help. (Because money isn't the problem.)

However, you did redeem yourself, and I whole-heartedly agree with this:

Now you're making sense. Well said.

The human spirit is an amazing thing. It can endure almost anything. So keep fighting, Angelguy.

    Don't do that!

Everyone gets overwhelmed at some point. When it rins it pours, but do remember that it is always darkest before the dawn. You need to get to an old friend quick and have a sit down with them.....by old friend I mean someone who knows and understands where you come from and what you have already been through in your life to have you sitting where you are at. Chances are you have already been through something tougher than you current time and made it through it.

Let us know how you are doing!

Do whatever you can to become financially stable. If you have to, work at Burger King and Live in a single room that you rent for cheap.

Your financial instability is causing you a great deal of stress. It will cause you to make irrational business decisions. It will be very hard for you to make the level-headed decisions required to succeed as an entrepreneur if it continues.

Get your income above your expenses ASAP. No matter what it takes.

I don't think it is a wise move. And worst of all, it is a mortal sin. Even by just thinking about it and not doing it yet, is already a sin. Most of us went through a situation like yours, but thanks to the people around, your family, friends, the people here in WF, they enlighten you up. Never solve a problem with another problem. Just relax. Think about the good things that God has given you, and start moving on. There is no problem so big that God can not solve it. (from a religious song).

I would try and pull yourself together first. Look at something more positive in your life and focus on that. It may sound weird but, I have to tell you that I too have been there. You could go into the section where people in the warrior forum hires people. The worst thing you can do is give up. Remember just when you are at the bottom there is no where else to go but up!

I know this will sound corny but my grand dad told me once when you hit bottom you stay there and sulk about it or head back up cause that's the only direction you have in front of you. Suicide is the easy way out and only leaves more destruction after the fact. Embrace each minute as though it was a gift, which it is, work on leaving a legacy even if it's just for yourself.

It will be ok! Many people in history who really understood how the mind works have agreed that we don't react to reality itself, but to the idea we have (i.e. we'be built) about reality.

And sometimes we're immersed so deep down in this defeating mindset, that we cannot possibly see what's outside this bubble we close ourselves into. I know, because I have suffered from clinical depression for a few months and nothing seemed to motivate me to get out of it. I had to struggle, really struggle to get back on track. This experience can make you a stronger person.

"Whatever does not kill you makes you stronger" (the most quoted idea from Nietzsche). Such a tough experience can be either a ticket on a downward spiral - or an opportunity for self-growth. You do have the power to make this choice.

"Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem" - Richard Bandler.

I know this topic shouldn't be taken lightly, but that quote carries some truth with it and frames it in a quite impactful way.

I also know this may not make perfect sense to you right now or might not get you right out of your situation - but come back to this thread in the future, when you've gotten out of this situation - and re-read the encouraging comments from all the fellow Warriors who've been so kind to post these encouraging and supportive comments.

All the best - and "keep walking".

Many people are here to help.

    Hey Angelguy,

You need to change your thought patterns... instead of going down the negative route, start to focus on the positive. Once you change your mindset all your obstacles will begin to change form... Nothing can prevent your picture from coming into concrete form, except the same power that gave it birth..... yourself.
Start to focus on what you really want in life and start to work towards it... the going will be tough but just keep affirming to yourself that you WILL MAKE IT THROUGH.
