The Easiest Way to Kill Your Profit is

LOSING YOUR MOMENTUM.

I've been doing IM for about 15 months now, and I've learned about 1 gazillion ways to make money online.

So why am I not a multi-millionaire yet?

Because I- like you too I'm guessing- lose my momentum.

I'm learning that momentum is a VERY powerful thing!

In case you're not sure what it is, it's basically the force that keeps a moving object moving.

So in your IM business, momentum is also like "getting in the zone."

It's cranking out 20 articles in a day.

Or putting up 100 ads on Facebook to find the picture that performs the best.

Or writing a few thousands words a day for your ebook or WSO.

The thing is, a lot of the time we'll get some momentum going by working an hour or so, then do something else for a while...

then never come back and finish our project.

If you can do that- awesome, more power to you.

But there's a reason why businesses don't let you have a 3-4 hour break in the middle of the day. If you did, you'd have NO motivation when you got back to work!

So here's my point- if you want to be successful, learn how to use momentum.

If you're writing articles, keep cranking out more. Don't do something else "just for a little while".

If its putting up ads, keep going until you have as many as you need.

Keep that momentum going, and your business will grow and grow!

Great thread! Momentum is a serious thing.

    What works for me:

Understanding that it isn't some unexplainable concept, but that it's a reproducible activity in the brain and then...

    Learning how to produce it.

    Great thread! Get in State!

Awesome post! I have read a book called Eat that frog before and it's talk about momentum and how when you start going you just keep going without stopping to get the highest achievement.

My problem is constant distractions. My husband and I share an office . . . ugh!

The older I get, the harder it is for me to deal with interrupted 'work sessions' . . .

My best productivity happens when I am alone in the morning for several hours.

    I agree Justin.

When you have momentum don't kill it! Keep on keeping on....eventually you create a sort of critical mass and what you do feels quite effortless and brings wonderful results.

    Thanks for sharing.

I dissagree. The easiest way to kill your profits is to have a bad business model, or to not understand what your prospect is willing to spend his money on.

A major thing that completely screws people's momentum. And I had to learn this the hard way, is multitasking.

According to Eben Pagan, who is a very successful guy in general, that knows about.... Well let's just say everything. Says that the number 1 productivity killer in today's society is multitasking.

So if you wanna have momentum in your life, be focused on just one thing for periods of 90 minutes... This will get you focus and will give you a lot of momentum
