I have a theory that many people have been conditioned to think that more time = more money.* (Which is right if you're working for someone else.)

However, when it comes to entrepreneurship, things are different. If it takes 50 steps to become a millionaire, you can complete in a couple of months or you can complete them over a couple of years.

I think there is definitely a case for more time equalling more money but of course, it does not have to be your own time that does it. Part of being in business is about finding the people who are "conditioned", growing their talent and delegating tasks.

I merely put this thread forward so people can see that everything does not have to be rocket science. If you always seek to double what you have (even if it is currently at the $5.12 stage) then things can happen very quickly.

This is a great method that I was taught about 12 years ago. A report written by Stuart Goldsmith I believe. If you follow the plan a lot more things are learned as you grow through the levels. When you start you can use your time to double small amounts of money. So with say $40 you could buy some wood and use your time to make that wood into a garden bench to sell for $80. But as the amounts get larger and larger this is less and less possible. So you have to think of cleverer and cleverer ways to double your money. In the process you evolve from an employee into an accomplished marketer.

Most marketers talk about ROI a lot, doubling your money is the bare minimum I personally look for in any kind of investment (unless quick 10% overnight) so this is very achievable.

Of course when you get towards the business end it will be trickier to double $335k etc but by then your knowledge and work force should of grown a long side your bank balance and you will believe that it is possible.

The question is how many people here know how to triple the money they have

I say triple because the theory asumes you woul live without spending which will only be true if you live in desert

if you know how to triple your money without fail, then this plan would work

great stuff, thanks! einstein told us "compound interest" is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. most can see that when they only make minimum payments on the credit card balance and never pay it off. obviously we want it to for us, not against us. i use that same formula often and ask someone, you have to choose ONE of these items. take 2 million dollars right now, or i give you a penny, and double every day for 30 days, which turns into over 5 million. everyone takes the quick money who don't know the compounding formula. thanks again, Dr. M
