Anyone have time to be a mentor?

I recommoned learning from Mike Dillard, Daegan Smith, George Brown and Mike Kern. Top internet marketers, their mentoring likely wont be free though, but they have great products at reasonable prices you can afford. Just google them

I am by far no IM expert, but I have been doing this for about 10 years part time. I am ashamed to say I still have a "job" but am close to hitting the full time pay dirt that we all dream about. That being said, I would offer to be your mentor of what i have found that works and also a student of what you have learned as well! I am a firm believer that two, working together, can accomplish great things...

We are actually somewhat nearby, as i live just east of Columbus, in Pickerington. It would make it possible to meet on occasion, say in Springfield or nearby if we decided it would help.

As far as what I have done so far: 1) eBay since 1998 - custom products, 2) Clickbank promotions, 3) Video Marketing - used Jeff Herschey's material (he's former Air Force fighter pilot) and just general seo, Google tricks and whatnot !!

I am just beginning to play with social networking. I am a geek on the technology side, so not too many things that hit me from the technical side are an issue. I am not really a programmer but have picked up some php and drupal support along the way.

Why not look at local networking events for business owners? You're not likely to find someone online whom has not seen you before.

Nick -- Want to wish you the best of luck. I have found it is hard to understand exactly where to go to learn without paying $10-30 to try to learn. In reading WF I have learned a lot about what I need to learn. Then I read when someone drops in on a person such as yourself and drops wisedom. With the cost of the little ones try just poking around on WF a bit. That's what I'm doing.

Now I dropship electronics on eBay and Amazon among others:rolleyes: full-time and clear a good six-figures a year. That is not bragging, because my nephew, yes nephew cleared over 600K just during Christmas selling spices(like tumeric, rosemary,etc). So he calls me a broke A$S:p (and yes, Jeff I just shouted out your niche) kiss my tush, we can square off in Retro Fitness parking lot again. Sorry, he will see this I know it.

hey mate, i reccommend learning from youtube and video marketing sites, it's amazing the amount of things can be learnt from video marketing. It is like the people are right in front of you teaching you awesome techniques and training you to become better in whatever area you wish. I personally learnt how to build websites and market them from youtube. The best thing is if you don't understand anything you can always rewind and go over it a hundred times until you are familiar with it.

Hi. Its time to get your business into gear. It can't be something you do half heartedly. The training you are missing out on to get your drop shipping off the ground. Is Marketing.

It's a Catch-22. You can't afford a good mentor cause they make too much doing their business to take time away from that for what they would need to be paid. You can get an unproven or less proven mentor, but why pay for that? Look into some quality membership sites that have a good community. You won't get one-on-one, but good people like and know the benfit of sharing.
