This is just shout out for this book. It was written 80 YEARS AGO!!

It is awesome!!!

Any one who is feeling lost, read this book.

Yeah I agree. All of the self help books come from this book. Think & Grow Rich is the base of all self help and mind power books in my oppinion. And probably one of the best also. If you take the mindset described in this book and make it your own you are bound to get what you want.

I just finished reading this book for the first time a few months ago and I also read Bob Proctors "You Were Born Rich" actually it was the book you were born rich that inspired me to read "Think and grow rich" and I am so glad I did.

The information in there was powerful and life transforming.

Dameon73 I was thinking about making that book be my next read, thanks for listing it.

Everything depends on taking action. My father literally had that book in his hand everyday for years, but unfortunately he took the title literally. Just by thinking of growing rich, he thought he would, and with no action ever taken, he never did.

I was going to start a thread about my experiences for the last few days but couldn't think of a good headline and saw this one...

While esp stuff seems to be somewhat predominant in my family, we don't get everything we think about but... true story here...

when my oldest daughter was about 2, I started noticing that she would say things that were related to what I was thinking about and decided to do a test. I don't expect anyone to believe this but I was 7 months along with her sister and sat on my bed and just thought to myself "amy, come here" seriously, she walked into the room and said "what mom?" ewwwwww.... I asked her what she meant and she said "you just said "amy come here"

that was just the first of many freak me out situations with her but I realized the power that we have when we believe and no that doesn't mean I get everything I hope or ask for but here is what happened to me this week. You can believe it or not it won't make any difference about it being real in my life.

I build amazon sites and no I don't make enough money yet to pay the bills but have been getting some sales again recently (was doing about $40 per month before the google mayday thing whoo hoo)... any way I had a few sales and thought let me have at least 7 today... got up and checked "exactly 7"....

after hoping for 10 for a few days I had 10... now this is where you may not really want to believe me but I decided on 13 (I love that number hehe) but it didn't happen... so I changed it because it had been a few days and this morning when I went to check my amazon sales I thought "please let it be 13" with the back of my mind saying 17 would be better....

I almost fell over when I saw that my account said 17 sales... granted they were for under $10 except for two but still........ I believe... now I need to stop thinking about how many sales but how many $$ LOL... believe it or don't. Like I said it won't change the reality of that it happened to me

Oh and I do believe it is because I have been lucky enough to be here...

Sorry, I may have hijacked this post but I love the book and all Napolean Hill and I can't think of the other author but used to listen to the tapes from another book.... I'll remember it when I go to bed.... I decided to look it up and I thought it was "the law of success" it actually was "success through a positive mental attitude" and the other author is Andrew Carnegie..

I liked to listen to the tapes while driving and while I am no where near success as far as $$ goes, they gave me an outlook that often gives me peace of heart, mind, and soul....

As far as my daughter Amy, I could write a book on the experiences that would be like something most would not believe but it freaked a few of my friends out when she was little and doing it... I for one am glad to have experienced some of the miracles of mind power and faith

I consider it the best 'true' self help book because it's philosophy is based on timeless principles.

The steps to follow -besides being creative exercises- are patterns of behavior, attitude and action in common to the most successful men, (by traditional definition) that can be applied to any aim, goal or field.

It shows us the big picture (if reading between lines) and the nuisances of applying it to the subject of making money.

A priceless jewel of research, experience, perseverance and thought from Napoleon Hill.

I got this book about 15 years ago and until today I still refer to it every now and then. Invest in this book, it just cost a few cup of cafe latte or you may even get at second hand one that cost even less. Go get it!

It was a pretty good read. Not the best in my opinion, though. As far as books for internet marketers, The Irresistible Offer, and The Great Formula give you more bang. Assuming you apply them in detail, of course.

I listen to Think and Grow Rich in my car whenever I'm driving.

I generally gravitate to Chapter 3 and 4, as these have made a profound difference in my life.

Napolean Hill and "auto suggestion" are the same as what is purported in "The Secret" and the Secret is basically a rehash of what Napolean taught decades ago.

A must read for anyone serious about tapping into creative energy and powerful positivity.

The sky is the limit once you permeate yourself with the wisdom and input from the genius of Napolean Hill.

      • Think and Grow Rich is the pillar of all the history on mindset improvement, self improvement, personal development. You can keep stick to this amazing lecture and you already have everything you need for your success.

There are the fundamentals for mind reprogramming and reconditioning and the exercises - if you really are committed to apply yourself upon them - really work.

Every other book, audio course, or seminar I have read, listened, participated, get its basis from the powerful content & principles of this amazing book.
I vividly suggest to read as many times as possible, because you can get extraordinary insights and breakthroughs every single time.

        It's an incredible life-changing book.

I remember seeing a video of Bob Proctor. Bob said that he reads Think and Grow Rich every single day. Even though I had read the book before, hearing that showed me just how important this book is to my life.

Since then, I have been either reading or listening to some aspect of this book several days a week. Retraining your mind to success is definitely worth it.
