Avoiding the concept of 'new'

Hi! I can't really post many places yet, (because I can't afford it) but I'm glad I have access to this one, as I'm big into self improvement. However, I was curious about something. I'm fairly new to affiliate marketing. I see all the offers in the WSO forum, and it seems like a new one comes out everyday.

A lot of the guys in their seem very talented at what they produce. I have found a set method to work on, so I don't spread my energies, but I would be lying if I said that I wouldn't mind a quicker way to extra income. So for the time being, I have made it a personal goal to tone down the browsing I do in there, and focus on learning this fundamental method to making money.

Do you ever get caught up in the concept of 'new'? And what do you do to stay away from it?

    The grass is always greener, isn't it? (Or the money, for that matter.)

    You're right - avoidance is a good way to not get distracted. You can't buy what you don't know about.

    Perhaps a better way is to filter everything through what it is that you are already doing. That is, does this new product have information that will help you with the work you're currently undertaking? If so, you might want to consider it, as it could save you time or grow your business faster.

    But if the WSO you're looking at is off topic, best to leave it alone for now and stay focused.
