What is the range of commission (percent) you receive when promoting personal development products or services? I have a client in the personal development business that wants to give $20 on a $149 sale (13%). One primary objective is to build their list so the higher the percent the better, in my view. What's your experience?

    That's very low - esp if their goal is trying to build a list. Seems like a poor decision to me.

    Yeah. That seems low.
    If you're in a position to negotiate that, I'd see about getting more.
    Then mention your goals of conversion for his/her product(s) and service(s).
    That should get their attention.
