7 Months to become a IM Success?

by Niche_Boy Banned

Basically i am a 20 year old living in the UK, I am unable to work due to sickness. I have 7 months before my rent on my apartment stop's being payed... The rent is about $850 a month, although if i can make half of that i should be ok since i get other welfare benefits.

I would like to become successful online, but i only have about 7 months to do it.

My question is:

Is this possible or have i left it too late?

It is very reasonable to aim for a steady income by then but you have to look at it like a business. In a business profit is mandatory. So, find something and stick with it. If you can, try to find something you are interested in or already have some experience in. Make sure you plan out how you will get from zero per month to $GOAL per month, but don't spend too much time planning. A general direction is all that's necessary because your plans will change without a doubt.

So, my counter-question is: Are you willing to put forth the necessary hours in order to create an online income?

It will be pretty intense but if you stay focused and keep moving you can make it work.

    - Nick

P.S.: The sooner you start absolutely loving Internet Marketing the quicker things will go

      Absolutely, it is possible.
My best advice would be to create a PLAN OF ACTION though, and stick with it.
There are lots of ways to make money online, so stick with something you are comfortable with, and will depend on the amount of money available to invest and different other aspects.

Like Nick Said. Stick to one thing at a time.
If You really do your homework and put your plan into massive action. It will be ok!

    Keep going man!

    Hello Warriors.

I am willing to put at least 8+ hours per day into this.

I want to go into the "health niche" and make my own natural health blog/website and monetize it with ad-sense and amazon products whilst writing my own unique content. I am just not very good with html/css and unsure how to go about implementing my idea.

First of all, there's plenty of ways to make money online. Go to Google's External Keyword Tool (google that), enter something related to your niche in the word/phrase box and find a low competition with high/med GMS/LMS. I recommend going to Clickbank in order to find a product that suits your niche (i've done pretty well with The Truth About Abs product). Now you can do two things:

      1) if you want you can create a blog. It's pretty simple, get a domain name (if possible include your keywords on it) and a hosting account. (try to get theme in the same place, hostgator for example, if not, just set your domain's name servers to the one provided for you in your hosting account). After this, install wordpress using Fantastico (one click install). Then log in to your wordpress admin account and upload a theme (or choose one there) and install the plug-ins (all-in-one SEO, robots, sitemap generator, etc). Then, write a product review on a separate page, include your affiliate link and after that start creating blog posts (each using a keyword found in the Keyword Tool). Then get backlinks for your review and posts and watch your website get ranked in search engines.

      2) Start writing articles using your keyword in the title. Article marketing is really profitable so use it. Remember to break the whole thing in paragraphs and include your keyword in each paragraph.

I see you have to make 850 a month. The truth about abs (and many other products) offer a 35 dollar commission, so if you sell 24 of them a month, your 850 dollar goal will be achieved. The conversion rate is about 5%, so for every 100 people visiting your site, 5 will make a purchase. So, you will need to drive about 500 visitors per month and you will surely make 850 dollars.

Now, imagine each of your articles drive 20 people per month (at least) to your site, you will need about 25 good articles posted out there (ezine and goarticles have worked fine for me). Personally, it takes me 20-40 minutes to write a quality article, and as you have 8hrs + a day i recommend you do the following per day:

1hr creating backlinks for your blog
1hr getting involved and posting in forums (with your blog in the signature)
      4 articles a day (about 2hrs)
      2 Web 2.0 (Squidoo, hubpages) a day (1hr)
      2 blog posts (1 hr)
1 hr of keyword research for future article and blogposts
1hr of video marketing or social networking (facebook/twitter)

basically get your blog out there, the more people that sees it, the more sales you can have. I'm glad you want to get involved and make a change for yourself, cause life won't happen unless you want it to.
Take a look at all the millionaires nowadays, they all started pretty low, being in debts and working small job positions. Maybe one day we will see your name among the Forbes top 100, who knows.

You took the first big step today, wanting to make a change. So keep going and never get discouraged, sometimes, this kind of things take time, but once you take off nothing will stop you. This is the first step, and as you advance you'll see there is a world of endless possibilities. 7 months with 8hrs a day is a very long time and I'm sure you'll make it happen.

Any doubts feel free to message me

      Good Luck!

Hi Niche Boy, I like your plan. I would suggest getting yourself some cheap hosting and upload wordpress. This is a pretty easy platform to use. The health niche I would say is pretty competitive so you would need to do some good keyword reserach.

What do i do then? pay a expert to design me a wordpress site, or buy a wso autoblog from warriorforums? I also want to write my own content though.

Just spend a little time learning how to use wordpress. I know nothing of html or css but I can put together a great looking blog just by using this free tool.

You don't need to hire an expert. Just put wordpress on and start learning as you go.

I don't think you need to pay someone to design WP site. WP is very user friendly and you can find a bunch of nice theme just by googling using specific keywords, for example 'free wp theme ' or something like that.

I agree, though i have never read this book, but many like it. No sickness can remain in the human body, unless the mind allows it and believes it to be real. The human body is changing at every second of the day. So why should sickness remain??? It shouldnt. Come to understand that God is not sick, nor is anything in nature. And since we are a part of this universe, neither should we be sick.

The only reason we experience sickness is because we have the God given gift of free choice, and this begins in our minds. Even though perfection and life is flowing all around us and within us, if we believe in sickness, then our belief limits the flow of that life, and as a result we feel and appear sickly. Change the way you think. Understand that when you feel sick or in pain, it is your body healing itself, but we remain sick, because we continue to look at the sickness. learn to ignore it, and feel inside that life is flowing through your body, and removing any sickness and impurity. Also try meditation, and focus on your breathing, solely for the purpose to stop thought and relax for a moment. This will raise your vibration and energize you. The more you feel this, the more you will realize that life is perfect and flows in you

    Hi NB,

Do something part time to help pay the bills.

If you use your business to pay the bills.....well, when you're new to it, it doesn't work that way. Virtually everyone who forces their biz to pay for things falls into silly competitive marketing tactics and their biz implodes.

Clear your mind of financial stress. Finding something to pay your rent - a steady income stream - and build your business the right way, with no financial strain on you.

Ryan is absolutely right here. Internet marketing is not a business that you can just jump into and start making money right away, despite appearances to the contrary.

If you can't find any kind of offline work, look into offering services online such as article writing, ghostwriting, and any other services that you can get into. This is what will provide the steady income while you're working on your long-term internet marketing.

If you're constantly worried about how you're going to pay your bills, it's very hard to concentrate on building your online business. Countless people have tried and failed - it's just not very conducive to doing this when you have constant financial pressures and are worried about where your next meal is going to come form.

You have to develop a consistent source of income first, while devoting perhaps 2-3 hours daily on your long-term internet marketing.

I'd suggest looking at online freelance sites and also gig sites like Fiverr, and developing some additional skills to offer there so that you can generate steady income while working on your IM. 7 months is really not as long as you'd think, so get started on this immediately while you have the time and determination to do so.

The easiest way is to by a domain name, install wordpress, get a free theme that you like, and simply start customizing it with plugins and creating high value content. Don't worry about monetizing in the first month or two. Just build it up with good content and learn the ins and outs of wordpress. Once you do that you'll have a better understanding of what you need and want to get the site looking the way you ultimately vision it. From there you can start thinking about upgrading to a paid theme or getting some custom work done. There's no need to do all that until you've been able to get some proof of concept.

in terms of your Wordpress blog, there are tons of tutorials and Youtube videos about how to install, maintain and optimize your blog with plugins. Also look for "how to make money blogging" blogs like Yaro's blog (entrepreneurs-journey.com). Focus more on learning by action and less on courses.

Like someone else said, natural health, even though its not the main 'health' niche, is still huge. You can drill down a bit more and attract more targeted readers. Do you plan to blog on natural remedies? Exercise? Diet? Supplements? Alternative medicine? Detoxing from chemicals? You get where I'm going... good luck! I love blogging and just discussing your passion with others who are equally passionate is so rewarding (in addition to any money you receive from it).

    7 Months to gather $850 a month? I think it's really doable.
But you have to get going. Most affiliate doesn't pay your income before 60 days. So, if you still have 7 months to go, and you are going for affiliate marketing, you only have 5 months left to earn the commission.

7 months is an ample span of time to be an IM success IF you know what you're doing. You can have a day job and do IM at night. IM is not a 100% fool proof business model. It's either you SUCCEED or you FAIL.

It is possible, I recently got laid off from my job and am implementing my plan of action for how to get by and make the money I need.

I would do a combination of offering your services and promoting affiliate products via website or blog. Don't settle for those low ball article offers, if you're a good writer you should be getting at least $20-25 per article. There's plenty of people here who are happy to pay writers what they should be paid. Good graphic designers are also sought after.

A lot of niches in the health niches are in demand so that is a good way to go. Just have a plan of action (break everything down into action steps) and some sort of system in place to stream line your earnings.

Absolutely. Three months after I started in this industry, I was making even more than the $850.

If you are passionate about working online and providing value, there are literally no limitations.

The fastest way to make money "online" where you almost instant income is to provide services. E.g. you study how to build backlinks and offer that to companies. There are a lot of SEO firms that hire freelancers for linkbuilding.

You can start a website at the same time and change priorities when you see your site is more profitable.

Hey Niche Boy - I've just seen your thread and my suggestion would be to set yourself up as a freelance health ghostwriter. That might be a quicker and easier way for you to get yourself earning online, rather than relying on affiliate programs or your own niche blog.

Even if you were only earning $10 per article, you would only need to write 85 of them a month to reach your financial goal. That's less than 3 a day, which is very, very manageable. You'd also get a better idea of the really 'hot' niches in health for your blog and some much needed start-up capital for your business.

Hope all of that helps and good luck with your journey.

If you read these forums, you'll see a lot of the same things. Assuming that you want to create a money-making website:
      1. Business ideas can come from looking at what people you know buy, bestsellers on amazon, clickbank and ebay or just seeing what people are searching for.
      2. Keyword research is critical. Get the trial version of Market Samurai and watch their videos. You need to find keywords that have enough people searching for them and a low number of weak competitors
      3. Build a site to deliver your content but don't waste time making it look amazing until you've made a sale or two and found out if it will be worth your time or money.
      4. Encourage people to sign up to your email list the moment they arrive on your site. You've spent all this time and money getting them there, capture their email address and you can build a relationship with them, selling to them in the future.
      5. Learn to market your website. I thought it was just a case of writing a few articles and linking back but I know absolutely nothing about web marketing as I've found out. Travis Petelle offers a really thourough 28-day strategy that mixes microblogs, articles, podcasts, videos etc. I'm trying it out as we speak.
There is plenty more to learn but that's all I can offer at this stage, I'm far from making my first million.

I agree. 7 months is definitely a long time if you don't have a full-time job, so you have more time to work on your IM career.

I have been wading around "making money online" for more than a couple of years now. I've tried GPT (get-paid-to) sites but it takes ages before you can cash out and earn some real cash. So basically I don't recommend them. GPTs especially paid-to-click sites are not a viable business model, so expect some black-hat tactics they're using to keep them afloat.

Anyways, there are lots of ways earn money online. Internet marketing is such a broad thing. So we need to narrow it down.

What IM path would you like to pursue? There are lots to choose from.

        1. Article marketing
        2. Web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo and Hubpages
        3. Niche marketing (you have your own domain)
        4. PPC marketing
        5. Email marketing
        6. Video marketing

These are just the main categories of IM.

Choose one and then study it, learn from those who have succeeded. There are literally hundreds of thousands of tutorials you can find online. Its just a matter of putting the pieces together. And if you fail, try again using a different approach or tactic. Most importantly, don't give up.

Set goals and keep them in sight.

        To your success,

        Gie

What I'm going to share comes from firsthand experience. Hopefully it will benefit you and anyone else reading.

If you want to make money online and you want to focus in a "health" niche, here's what you need to do...

Pick a topic that no one wants to talk about. Make sure you focus on the "solution" and "support" aspect.

      Here's why...

Tough economic times, lack of insurance, lack of money are causing people to flock to the internet for home remedies, over-the-counter treatments, etc.

If you pick a topic that people don't want to talk about to their friends for support - where are they going to go?

I would find niche treatments - essential oils - items that people would want to by secretly online and have delivered to their door.

Education, support and cures - that's what people are looking for.

Keep that in mind and you'll do quite well. There was a time I was making $3,000 to $5,000 a month off one website with all this in mind during the development!

I no longer have that website - but sure wish I did!

      Good luck

Gie and Gayla and others - I am new to posting in the Warriors Forum, though I joined more than a year ago. I can't believe I waited so long to get involved, because you all are so generous to share what you are learning. Thank you!

I agree with everyone else, work on one thing at time.
If you do this and your research you will make money online.
The main thing is you have to believe in yourself for this to work, never give up.
    To your success
