Hey Everyone!

It's been a while since I've been on this site. I was first introduced to the WF through one of the many programs I've purchased over the years. One that promised everything and delivered nothing. I'm sure many of you know the story. At first I found it very intimidating since I've never been in a forum before, let alone make a post. Now I see WF as an invaluable resource to say the least. Needless to say after trying many programs I had nothing to show for it. Except more debt. I almost gave up out of the sheer frustration of it all. But in the back of my mind I knew there were ethical people out there doing this for a living. And I know that I can do it too! This is going to be the year! Sorry for all the rambling. Just had to pronounce "I'm back in the game baby!"

Thanks for reading.

Don't go along buying programs that get you into thinking that will you will make tons of money. You have to test your method thoroughly, find the things working/not working and pick out the bugs. Doing things manually will get you farther than some magical program that will grow you counterfeit money trees. Good luck in your journey

  • Focus is really important, so focus only one thing/project/technique that you like and feels good. There are lot of people here ready to help you...just remember that!

IMHO fastest way to cut the learning curve is to find a mentor or coach.

Great advice! Find something you are passionate about and enjoy doing.. take action and keep your head up. Mentor and network is huge in this industry.

for you and anyone reading, never give up! You're only a failure when YOU say so.

Its easy to get lost in the endless maze of courses and lose sight of what you're SUPPOSED to be doing - taking focused action! And its also easy to mistake pursuing more info as a business-building action.

The best way to learn about your business, is to start your business and figure out what your prospects/clients want and give it to them. You'll learn the other info along the way, and can use courses to supplement once you've taken focused action.

there is a little phrase that keep me up all the time when sometimes things are against me...

" Most people never achieve their goals because they often quit just
when they're on the verge of reaching their dream. "

    so keep that in mind!

I am new here but I just want to say I totally sympathize and empathize with you!! OMG I really do understand. I can't tell you how many programs I joined and the money I lost but at the same time I am thankful for that because how would I have learned otherwise? I have also learned to trust my intuition and will only invest in programs if I feel I will get something out of and so far I have, and have been happy. As said above, there are plenty of bad apples unfortunately but there are also good people too who want to achieve the same goals as we do. As tempted as I have been to give up as well, I am glad I haven't. Something will click!!

    Best

When you look at a standard business model, you have a mountain of costs, stock, lease, staff, advertising, merchandise etc.
In the scheme of things if you are focused and don't follow the 'make millions' trap your costs for the return represent the best deal on the planet.

    Have fun Rob

I'm glad you didn't give up! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and each obstacle you overcome empowers you to succeed even more. It's all about mindset and belief. Once you stand firm in your belief in yourself, you're unstoppable.

I love hearing stories of people overcoming great adversity. Each person has so much potential and ability to offer true value - for all you IM'ers, don't give up! Think of all the value you can add to other people's lives!

So glad to hear you decided not to give up. I understand the frustrations that come along with being new at this, but if you concentrate too much on how frustrating and hard it is at the beginning, that's only going to want to make you give up even more. Don't think about just right now, think ahead. Think about what it will be like when you finally do start seeing some progress and the money starts coming in. Set goals for yourself, daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, and yearly goals, but don't beat yourself up if you don't happen to reach each one of those goals by your set deadline; they are only guidelines to help push yourself in the right direction. And as long as you are moving forward, you are making progress, and you should be proud of yourself for that. Everything else will fall into place a little at a time....

        Good luck!

Not giving up is the most important thing. You should just do it because you like to do it. The money will come afterwards. If you are chasing money then this is not for you. Do this because you want freedom to do whatever you want!

I'm in the same boat - starting out, trying to piece the jigsaw of concepts together.

At many times doubt has crept in and sapped my motivation entirely, but then I pick myself up out of the dust and get back into the fight. This learning curve has been going on part time now for a couple of years.

As time goes on, I'm picking up more and more. Isolated subjects are now connecting up in my mind map and I'm starting to see more of the whole picture. The technical steps are becoming clearer.

I am feeling more confident about what needs to be done, and my motivation and excitement is growing daily because of it. It's almost within my reach!

I am now getting ready to assemble all the different aspects, and I'm turning my attention to content creation.

My personal tip for keeping motivated: start out with a subject matter or niche which has some personal interest or value to you. That way, you have twin pillars of motivation - one is to make a successful business, the other is working on a subject that appeals to you.

      All the best,
      Sean

P.S. The challenges and learning curves of IM are perhaps a good thing - it ensures that there less people doing it and so reduces the competition for the 7 billion customers out there.

Congratulations for dusting yourself off, getting back up, and getting back in the race, my friend...

    The warriors motto -
"Never give up, never back down, never lose faith...!"
It's important to have a source of connection, a source of support, and a place to meet with those who have gone before us to achieve success, who who are willing to lift us up, and share the lessons they've learned along the way before us... the forum is a great resource for each of these things...

The question is, what made you go back??

As for me, I choose my mentors well. I choose where I learn from. I do a background search on their achievements online so I'm sure that they're talking from experience, not just theory.

You get a lot of people promoting 'how to make money' products when even they themselves haven't made a single online! So be wary, and watch who you learn from.

Hey I know what you mean, I went through a stage where I thought about giving it all up, spending thousands and basically getting nowhere, Then I read the book Think and Grow Rich. That book totally changed the way I was thinking. Basically we can do anything we want if we put our mind to it., what I have learnt is to never give up even when something you are trying to do fails, when that happens I start again and try to find out why it failed. Once of the best things I ever did was to get some basic coaching.
One last thing, whatever you do never ever give up on your dream..
