Setting up an open dialog by asking questions and listening for answers is a fine way to gain the trust of someone.

Listeners care, and we tend to trust someone who we care about.

    Be honest with clients and potential customers. Don't lie. Nothing gains trust like honesty. Do what you say you will do. Don't make fake screenshots of income just to make a sale. Actually care about your client and/or customer. In short, be real.
