What drives you?

How strong is the driver? At times I see people who assure me they're driven like the dickens, yet the same folks turn around and complain about obstacles.

Guess what? If you're actually taking the time to focus on obstacles, your drive needs....overdrive. Because if your desire-fire were burning white hot it would simply incinerate any idea of what some call "obstacles"

So......what drives you?

The main thing that drives me is this:

People around me wishing to become wealthy but never even bothered reading a book on how to do that...

Ever since I was little my only wish was to have a huge house somewhere in miami and drive a big car ( i know sounds like the average dream) but i know now what it takes to get there: smart work and a s*** load of dedication!

I just don´t want to work all of my life for money and that why i decided to do as much as possible "now" ( i am 20 years old) and hope for the best!

Get rich or die tryin is what keeps me going xD

    Succeeding at personal goals...

Over the years, I've had a number of jobs that had little potential for advancement for one reason or another, or poor upper management, or suffering from any number of management ills. During times like these, it is important to have your own compass.

It can be similar to the processes one undergoes when building an IM business.

I set personal goals and derive satisfaction from achieving them. This doesn't necessarily mean making a certain amount of money in some artifically fixed time. Some goals are short term, perhaps achievable in a day, others are longer term and may take weeks or months. Obviously, there are multiple goals on my list at a single time. I know that eventually, the achievement of these goals will drive the actions necessary to build multiple thriving and sustainable businesses.

I won't even mention money in what drives me, oh crap...

My biggest fear is to be on my death bed (hopefully many years from now) and not being proud of the life I lead, that is what drives me.

I think the best way to drive yourself is to be able to relax and be undriven. Life goes in cycles, you cannot always be on 5th gear burning nitro. Being able to just sit and relax makes the driven times much more productive

For me motivation follows the action and not the other way around.

I talk about it in greater detail in this post of mine:
