Money Loves Speed. THOUSANDS in 2 weeks. The Secret Formula? Massive Action = Massive Profits.

Warriors,

It has been a LONG time since I wrote one of those 'motivational'
get off your ass type posts here in the WF. Since I am jacked up
right now with tiger blood flowing through my veins, I figured now
is a good time to do some freestyle forum posting...

If you are new to the IM industry, or you have been around for
awhile and you are struggling to get things going, let me share
some insights that I had this morning while in the shower.

The first one was that I realized that I needed to cut my toenails
after I got out of the shower. The next insight was how impressed
I was with... uh... never mind...

Let me back up a little. For MANY months I was highly involved in
a project that took up 100% of my time. I had zero time to do any
of my own projects. And to be honest, it was driving me crazy so
I decided to step down from what I was doing and go tails to the
floor busting my rump for a few months to bang out as many of
the products, ideas, etc. that had been building up over the last
several months.

In some ways, I felt like I was starting all over again. I had
dropped just about everything to take on a massive project to
help launch a new Internet start-up company. Nine + months
were spent getting that baby up and running. Two week ago
today, I officially stepped down from my position in the company
to get back to what I enjoy doing... my own thing.

Exactly 15 days ago I sat down and drafted an extremely aggressive
plan to get momentum flowing. Money loves speed. Momentum
creates opportunities. Action creates ideas which leads to even
more opportunities.

Exactly 2 weeks ago today I turned my computer on - ready to
begin my massive action plan.

In exactly two weeks I went from nothing going to having...

1. Created 9 information products (audio, video, written, etc.)

2. Received two $3,500 checks from off-line companies (One
check arrived on Saturday - the other will arrive tomorrow.)

3. Created and launched a 3.5 hour video course with tons of
written materials, transcripts, bonuses, etc. on ClickBank.

4. In the beginning stages of possible partnerships for launch/
consulting/ ongoing marketing strategy for a couple of businesses.

5. Picked up two copywriting clients (I have decided that I will
re-launch my copywriting business this week, for the first time
in several years publicly.)

6. Drafted out 2 business plans for my wife to follow for her to
start to create 'part-time' momentum. She is a stay-at-home
mom and now that our son is on a 'somewhat' normal schedule,
she is ready and excited to duplicate some things she did in the
past to create products and offer services. (She is an SEO writer,
and a darn good one. Plan is for her to launch her writing business
as a WSO and get to work on 2 products she will sell on ClickBank.)

7. Launched 6 niche blogs and developed aggressive SEO strategy
that I will be following over the next few weeks for each of them.

8. Started work on 3 new products that I will complete this week,
which will include a major product that I will launch as a WSO for
a few days to offer Warriors a crazy discount, then launch it on
ClickBank.

9. Meeting with 2-3 iPhone App developers here locally to begin
the creation of a handful of iPhone Apps that my wife and I have
come up with.

10. Speaking to a few programmers on some software and WP
Plugin ideas that I have to find a long-term partner on software
development projects.

11. Sold some advertising on a few of my blogs that brought in
an additional $320 today.

12. Did the unthinkable and launched FIVE WSO's yesterday,
back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back all in one day. So keeping
up with questions, comments, PM's, emails, etc. is always fun
with one WSO - times that by five! LOL

The above put thousands of dollars into my pocket in 2 weeks,
with many more coming in. And yes, I have major ADD - so
in some ways I had an advantage because I cannot stay focused
on one thing for too long. So having so many back-to-back
things lined up actually fueled me and enabled me to bang so
much out so quickly.

The bottom line is you can manufacture momentum. Spend a
day this week or next weekend and write out ALL of your ideas,
plans, and anything that comes to mind. Map out your plan.
And most importantly - STICK TO IT. Even when some of the
work gets tough. There were MANY times last week that I
wanted to take a break for a few hours. Writing back-to-back-
to-back salesletters in a single sitting is enough to turn your
hair grey in places you didn't know you had hair.

Was all of this easy? No. I had to motivate myself 285 times.
I had to push myself. And most importantly, and above all
else, I also had to balance time with my family. Family is
#1, so my time with my wife and son everyday is a MUST
and takes priority - as I am sure it is with all of you.

Push through. Do the uncomfortable. Build on your own
success. Lay the foundation (your plan) and stick to it. Think
of it as building a house. You HAVE to follow the blueprint.

You cannot lay the foundation first, then build the roof, then
install a sink, then put carpet down, etc. There is a plan that
you have to follow for a house - and a plan you have to follow
for your own business.

It doesn't matter what your skill levels are. Go out and get
a ton of work on Fiverr. Write 30 articles. Write a report and
sell the PLR as a WSO. Get some off-line clients. Stay focused.
Keep building - keep taking action - keep on keeping on.

Who cares if you have purchased 27 WSO's in the last 3 weeks
and you are frizzle fried brain dead burned out and overwhelmed.
Pick something you have learned, jump on it, and take action.

The ONLY thing that is stopping you... the ONLY thing that is
in your way... the ONLY thing that is slowing you down...
... is you.

Back to work.

PS... I forgot to mention that on Saturday I did the "Warrior
Dash". A 3 mile run through the woods. Obstacles, mud,
barbed wire, fire, things to climb, things to crawl through.
I am now an Official Warrior! http://www.warriordash.com/

I will also mention that when going on those "super
action get a ton of stuff done kicks" after is a period
of recovery that last for a few days or a week.

  • Man you hit the nail on the head here. Take action! You just can't say it enough in this business. I reckon if people worked out how much time they spend surfing forums like this rather than implementing what they have learnt they would be shocked.

For me, the Warrior forum is my chill time, after I have knocked off my to-do list for the day.

Taking action is very important but sometimes your actions do not match your goals. You can do everything that you think is right, but again is it the right actions.

Seems to me that "texas guns" has taken massive action. He has also taken the right action that made his this much money in a short period of time.

    Way to go man. Congratulation.

Very good point. One could spend days or weeks taking
action - only to find that the actions that they were taking
      produced little to no results.

It's more of a 'planned' form of action based on strategies
and techniques that are proven to work. And the best
ones to use are ones that you yourself have used in the
past to make big things happen.

      Nothing happens overnight.

It takes commitment, a lot of learning, and falling on
your face 1,001 times and the willingness to get back
up, dust yourself off, and try it all over again.

Congratulations on your recent success! This really is some great motivation for me as after many months of searching for the one 'secret' method I am finally deciding to TAKE ACTION. In the past couple hours I have created some YouTube videos to advertise CPA campaigns. That's 50x more progress than I made in the MONTHS of reading the same stuff over and over again.

Couldn't agree more with you. Doing the uncomfortable is what leads to comfort in the long run. It's all about thinking out of the box and stepping out of your comfort zone.

One thing that shines through your post is - honesty Keep it up! Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Change comes from being UNCOMFORTABLE.You have to take action, or you will just conform like everyone else. Feel uncomfortable! - otherwise, we wouldn't change. Learn from challenge and change, great post!

    Texas_Guns, your rock, dude!
Having ADD myself, I've noticed that I just have, no... I must(!) take action quickly. If I stretch the project in time, it dies.
But the most difficult thing is to know what action is right.
