Does anyone listen to subliminal audios?

Checkout Effective Learning Systems. They have an extensive library of CDs.

Alan brings up a good point. Different approaches work for some and not for others.

I tried a Brain Sync CD and it gave me headaches.

I also tried some Learning Strategies Cds and they gave me nightmares!!! I ended up going to their forum & found many others who were also being awakened with horrible dreams. (The company claims you can listen while asleep.)

I ended up finding Effective Learning and their recordings are a good fit for me.

No matter which company or program you decide to go with, I'd start with only 1 CD to make sure it's a good fit before making a larger investment.

Then, just install it on your pc, configure all the settings to your liking, and it will flash many subliminal messages (which you can choose) from one or more different subliminal programs (which you can also choose) on or all around your computer screen while you work, over any period of time you want (at intervals which you can also choose).

I've my own subliminal "video". It's just a bunch pictures of what I want in my life. I created a diaporama and I speed it up and watch it super fast. the feeling is great

I've only ever listened to 2 subliminal CD's:

The first was a few years back to help me to stop smoking - it didn't work...

The other one might hit the nail on the head for you... I have listened to this over the last year on a fairly regular basis:

It is the audio CD that comes with Paul McKenna's "Change Your Life In 7 Days" and is about half an hour long.

The book and the CD do not claim that they will change your life in 7 days, but should instead be used as a 7-day process that you should repeat as often as you choose, in order to gain the benefits you were looking for.

Paul McKenna has studied NLP and uses those techniques in the audio (after explaining that he is going to, in the book). It is specifically geared towards achieving success in all areas of your life and shifting your internal programming in a very powerful and inspirational way.

HIGHLY recommended and available at any good book store (or Amazon). ;-)

Seriously Cynthea, if you're interested in NLP and reprogramming yourself for success, get this book and audio.

I've used BrainSynch, some of the things I've found through Bellaruth Neparstek's healthjourneys website, Morry Zelcovitch's, and some unmentionables.

I've generally found brain entrainment more useful than subliminals, and guided imagery and hypnosis to work more immediately, but my reasons for using them have been different than yours: I've been struggling with severe depression and frequent panic attacks since I was twelve (I'm 30), and I've been trying methods beyond drugs and therapy to improve that. I've only recently been in the market for success-related things, and I will check out that recommendation, as well, Ed.

I am a big fan of guided imagery for anything, I will say. It's helped me untangle problems, and if you're concerned about limited beliefs, or yourself working against you, guided imagery might help you identify some of those things consciously while exploring your unconsciousness. I always look through Bellaruth's stuff before I look elsewhere.

A couple of years ago, I would put on some Dan Kennedy audio CDs on very low volume and play them while I slept. I did very well during that time. In fact, I should start doing that again. Thanks for this thread -- it's reminding me to restart old habits that have fallen by the wayside!

You gotta make a few distinctions here.

NLP which I'm a practitioner of... is different than paraliminal CDs. Those are hypnosis.

They do work, I like them alot.

But all of those are different than psycho cybernetics.

Not quite the same thing, but what I do for complete personalization is write down a long list of goals and motivational sayings and such, and either play it off off of "Speak" on the iPhone/iPad or iSpeak on my browser, and then just turn the volume down.

Don't use the an accent you're used to. If you're British, use the American one, if you're American, use the British one. That way, the mispronunciations will be less familiar and bother you less.

It's probably not exactly what you're looking for, but that way you know exactly what you're getting and you can personalize down to the letter.

Er, if your native language is something other than English, use whatever alt-accent you have available. (Spain-Spanish if you're from Mexico or vice versa. It just cuts down on the "weird it's a robot" sound.)

I assimilate both subliminals and hypnosis like a crocodile. They are part of my weekly routine but I am very picky of what I listen to. The consensus is to have a huge variety of audios/videos from a producer you trust and feel comfortable with.

Your unconscious mind rules your behavior. Having said that, listening to subliminal messages can mold your perception and influence major parts of your character *if* you use them on an on-going basis. I've personally seen solid results by using them.

I would suggest you all stop listening to subliminal messages because the beast could pop out of your screen at anytime. Whoever is buying into subs needs a head exam.

I am listening to Serenity in Music by Eldon Taylor. The CD came along with his Mind Programming book that I bought. In it are positive affirmations.

Even though I can't hear what are being said, I know what they are. He listed the positive words and phrases that he has embedded in the appendix.

The music is soothing. I usually listen to it while I read.

I don't know if it has changed me. But I do know that I enjoy listening to the music.

Search for larrybigprine this guy has a free site and app. He teaches the Huna System. Really good stuff.

Whatever you use make sure it gets you in deep, very deep trance -- in a way that the audio interwovens with your subconscious. I should know better because my life is transit to some major changes and am on the verge by the way it's transformed.

Its subliminality depends on an absence of directed listenin'.

But if we become aware of the existence of previously unheard audio, we can mebbe listen for it.

Only when we have heard it, an' recognized it, can we listen to it.
