Advice From The Grave

Wouldn't it be amazing if you knew what happened when you “die.”

Thanks partly to the Internet (and some very brave souls) now you can. See I've been studying NDEs (or “Near Death Experiences“) and it's nothing short of fascinating. You can read more about them here. (Near-Death.com)

One of my favourite NDEs is reported by a man named Christian Andréason. on June 2nd, 1995 Christian died. And when he was “dead” he learned a great many truths about life and "The Universe." Including:

Seeing/feeling the presence of God. Visiting Heaven. Some amazing things he was told about The Earth. And “God” sharing what Christian's purpose was in his current life. (There's actually much more …)

One of the most important aspects of this NDE is: “How To Walk In The Ways Of Love.” (Which is important for your spiritual growth and advancement. ) See people who are accomplishing this have the following characteristics:
1. They are not easily offended (if at all) and they are always willing to forgive trespass. (This is important.)
2. They are generous people who give wholeheartedly
3. They have a positive non-oppressive relationship with God that is continually growing
4. They do all they can to be of service to others and bring beauty to the Planet
Now whether you believe in life after death, or Christian's account, you have to admit that's a pretty damn good way to live your life. So take something from it. Begin (or continue) to walk in the ways of love. :-)

Thanks for reading and if you want to read more of this amazing NDE you can read it here.

Very interesting. I know many people are skeptical about NDE's, but I've always thought if the information helps you live a better life, who cares how it came about!

    Interesting information.

Death is something most of us would rather not think about...yet, it's inevitable.

I've has glimpses of the here-after...indescribable beauty. I'm also a student of spirituality. There is a booklet, that provides a fascinating and logical explanation of what happens when we die. How is it that we live after death and what is the meaning of life? By Dr. Richard Steinpach.

Our conception of death greatly impacts our notion of life.

    Thanks.

It's funny because I've actually been reading Near-Death.com for a while now. It's a very interesting webpage. My favorite section is the "NDE Research Conclusions", specially this one:

    Homecoming - near-death experiences

I believe in life after death and as Michael said: " Our conception of death greatly impacts our notion of life."

That's interesting. Something I remember from Steve Pavlina's blog ("How To Be A Man ...") is this part:

A man's great challenge is to develop the inner strength to express his true self. He must learn to share his love with the world without holding back. When a man is satisfied that he's done that, he can make peace with death. But if he fails to do so, death becomes his enemy and haunts him all the days of his life

I think there could be some truth to that.

Oh I am very much into NDE's and believe what happens in it. I write about spiritual and esoteric stuff as well, as my latest that will be launched soon is on reincarnation. Jonathan and anyone else who is a believer of this kind of thing, I would love to chat with you further. I still have not posted enough to get PM's yet but you can always contact me through my site. I really love chatting about this stuff

Thanks for the interesting post - To me Death is the beginning of a new life. But present holds the key to the life after death,

For another point, you might want to look up Dannion Brinkley.

Dannion Brinkley is perhaps one of the most famous people that have talked about NDEs. He had a couple of best selling books about it, and his speeches/events are well worth attending. His most popular book was probably Saved By The Light, and he has several other titles out as well.

I've met him and his perspective on life after death is nothing short of amazing. He's quite a hoot to talk to as well. I've seen him at a number of events years ago, and despite several bouts with near death, he's still very active, last time I checked.
