This was a pretty fascinating book to me. Just wanted to pass it on.

Not to be argumentative but do you really think sentences like this are true. Is there any evidence to suggest it, note the words no exceptions. I think this is actually very dangerous for people to promote this. It would mean sick people thought about sickness, poor people thought about poverty etc.

The Law of Attraction always yields to you the essence of the balance of your thoughts. No exceptions.
You get what you think about—whether you want it or not.

It's not the word...it is the book I found fascinating. If you choose to read it, you may or may not feel that way.

However, you are responding without really understanding what the post is really promoting.

The book is an interesting story about the law of attraction and the title is "Ask and it is given"

Once you read it (if you choose) you will understand the concept a bit better.

I have read it along with other books by them, Rhonda Byrne and the other LOA proponents, when I researched the LOA phenomenon for an ebook I wrote.

You are right I guess I don't understand what you are promoting or why you find it fascinating, please let me know.

It's all opinion I guess. Yours is right to you, and I had no intention to prove that what I am promoting is right for anyone else. I guess whomever reads it will make that decision.

My father introduced me to the LOA almost three decades ago, in my early teens (he was a health researcher, so reading a lot was part of his work). LOA works for me. But, like everything in life there are conditions to be met.

I'll download and study the book. Thanks for sharing.

I wish you the best in all your pursuits.

It's one of my favorite books. I've read it a few times. I like that it gives some practical processes that people can to do raise their vibration (attraction energy).

As for the Bible quote, here it is:

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Mat 7:7,8

I've got to thank you again, bro. I've read about 18 pages. Awesome stuff. The central theme of reconnecting with ''the source'' makes a lot of sense. How can there be lack if we were really connected to ''the source''? How can evil thrive, if we're really attuned to ''the primordial radiations''?

A few months ago, I was chatting with one of my best ghostwriting clients and she mentioned the book, without giving details. Now, I know one of the reasons for her refined nature.

    All that's good to you.

You're very welcome Michael. Glad to hear you like it. I definitely thought that this book was way different that all the other law of attraction books out there...

Thank you for sharing this here I LOVE Abraham Hicks & share many recent workshop recordings on my Youtube Channel PhillLOL (already got in conflict with their Youtube Channel Admin xD but in general they are VERY allowing)

A more scientific explanation by Ramtha of the same phenomena: "Consciousness & Energy creates the Nature of Reality Unlimited"

Oh yes & by the way: It works You get what you vibrate & you can get so good at this that the solution presents itself to you before you are even aware that there is a problem because the problem (ask) & solution (given) are two sides of the same coin.

This may sound silly to you so please excuse me. I downloaded the book and have read the introduction and preface. But I am a bit confused about Abraham. Is it a real person or something to do with the Biblical character? Again sorry if this sounds naive or downright silly but hope that somebody would enlighten me. Thanks

That doesn't sound silly at all! I believe Gordon Gekko answered it best. To add to his comment, Abraham is not just one entity, but several. You will notice when Abraham speaks, it is referred as "We". And Esther refers to Abraham as "They".

Wow.. Thanks for posting Ryan.. I just dug up my two books that I've had and re-reading. I recently got Gettng into the Vortex, meditaion and it's amazing.

What makes the Esther and Jerry loa different and better in my opinion is the Emotional Scale - which allows you to see where you are and where you should be going (makes it easier). always move up the emotional scale. When you're conscious of this - it makes it easier.

Here it is: (when you go into the vortex - love/joy, etc. - then you think feel what you really want - then apply the 17 second method, 68 seconds will really energize it)

    Joy/Love/Knowledge/Freedom/Appreciation
    Passion
    Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
    Positive Expectation Belief
    Optimism
    Hopefulness
    Contentment
    Boredom
    Pessimism
    Frustration/Irritation/Impatience
    Overwhelm
    Dissapointment
    doubt
    worry
    blame
    discouragement
    anger
    revenge
    hatred/rage
    jealousy
    insecurity/guilt/unworthiness
    fear/grief/depression/despair/powerlessness

Love Esther/Abraham - Reading doesn't do her justice. You have to watch her.
