  All the constant chatter and questions in our head, make us so scared and stop us from even starting something. No start means no result. It also means that there is no bad result and we won't look bad in front of others. We worry way too much about what others think of us.

But what about needing help in some stuff, you can get positive response as well as negative response. It really up to you take that advice or not. I agree on this we should try......

I think he's referring to negative thoughts or words from people who have no idea about what he's trying to accomplish. It's true that you can get positive and negative feedback, but that's valuable if it's coming from someone who's actually in the trenches, so to speak. If it's just Joe from the pool hall who never did anything worthwhile, you can probably discount that.

So true. If we lack faith in our abilities, the likelihood of failing is pretty high.

But, if we forge ahead, despite ...we'll gain a lot even when we ''fail''. I agree, it's more honorable to try and gain some insights and new friends (or foes)...than sit back, crippled by fear.

Greatly said Flowbee. Giving something a try can make huge changes in life. Hence we should not say"no" or "I cannot" even before knowing and and giving it a try. At times golden opportunities come in disguise of "apparent criticality and toughness". If we take a little initiative to cultivate it, perhaps we would be able to do magics. Bolloywood star Amitabh bachhan was first selected to act in Slum Dog Millionaire but he declined the offer saying that he had some other jobs finally Anil kapoor, another 80-90s hero took the offer and the movie own Oscar in so many categories!! Mr. should have considered the prospect of the film by going through it's storyline.
