Being a fulltime IM'er working at home, if it wasn't for having kids going to school, everyday might feel like the same day (I would choose a Friday or Saturday).

But great tips for a better you or day.

Great advice. I love this one. A friend of mine was over once and when someone else in the room was complaining about having a really bad day at work she replied with something like "Oh, bad days suck. Can you name one great or funny thing that happened today at work"?

She completely changed the conversation, and this person's outlook on the day by simply reminding him to look on the sunny side. The guy then told us of a funny incident at work that day.

Thank you. This is great. I'm new here and this is a great way of encouraging others. Also, if we can find just one thing to be thankful for when we wake up, we will always have a great day and a great week.

Yes! These are very good tips! One thing I'd like to add that helps my week is planning weekends ahead of time. Knowing I have something exciting planned at the end of the week or during immediately makes my week enjoyable!

Taken from the Optimist's Creed. Here is the entire list:

    The Optimist Creed

    Promise Yourself-
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

Great quotes! We can never be reminded too much, to be positive!

I have a great quote from 'the Secret'
Four fundamental things to do to manifest money using the law of attraction:

    1. Think more thoughts in a day of abundance than of lack of money.
    2. Be happy now, without the money.
    3. Be truly grateful for everything you have now.
    4. Give the best of yourself to others.

This is a nice one if you can direct your thinking to abundance, appreciation and gratefulness!
