Meditation and personal development

When it comes to efficiency in marketing, a well balanced mind with a lot of creativity is very important. Only then, one can keep up in this competitive world. To achieve this and to release the stress, meditation seems to work fine.

It would help to stay more focused in the present bringing us out from dreaming of the future and regretting about the past.

A good comment indeed. Reading your comment brought a funny example to my mind. A patient was going to a doctor for no reason and bugging him. The doctor had to give him some medicine to get rid of him and at the same time, wanted to make sure that he does not eat it.

So, he told him: When you take this medicine in hand, if a monkey comes to your mind, don't eat it. Whenever that guy took that medicine in hand, the doctors words rang in his ears which brought the idea of the monkey. So, he never was able to take that medicine... Ha ha ha!

Negative thoughts are similar... To renounce them, we should take up a holistic approach. I too have seen some doing as you have mentioned. Time would come for them to move to a better way of handling the situation.

There is no "One" way to meditate. We all have different ways of relaxing and getting in our meditative happy place. The best thing is to do what makes you feel calm and happy and peaceful, then you have just found your way of meditating!

Hi yesmedia, that is true. There is no single way to meditate. Some get into a deep meditative state just by looking at the calm sea, some get into that state while working with complete joy... If one is able to reach the inner state of calmness, by some way, then it may be meditation for that person.
