Created a site, ranked well... and nowww?

Hiya,
I'm pretty new to this forum, but not to making money on the internet ( or at least trying to.) After 12 years of fooling around with the idea, I decided to actually try to stick with making some money. I got serious about learning, and then re-learning everything I could a few months back. I also learned to stop just sitting there and take some action. So, I did.
I used EXACT keyword searches and found an OK hungry niche. 15,000 monthly searches and 4,000 sites. I could have done better, but being it was a niche I know a lot about, I decided to run with it. I found a .com available for my exact phrase and was a bit astonished, so I bought it on godaddy and then bought myself a hostgator account.

I'm probably boring you with details, but after I did all that I pretty much created a very informative website. Say for example my niche was "buying shoes". I then put on my website tons of articles related to that keyphrase such as "buying cheap shoes", "buying shoes online", "buying shoes you can jog in", "buying shoes you can dance in.", etc.

And then I monetized it using amazon, adsense, and clickbank. I wrote product reviews right on my site for clickbank with two products that I picked. Two other products I direct linked inside of my wordpress posts.

Somehow or another, I made it to the first page of google ( fifth one down- ick) for my niche. I'm also on the second page for an article contained within mysite a few different places, and on the third and forth as well. Really, the only competition taking away my 1st,2nd,3rd or 4th spot on the first page is the actual .org and then an ezine article.

I'm getting NO traffic which means NO sales. I just created the site and went live two days ago - so I sort of want to do a happy dance that I am on the first page, but at the same time upset that I'm not getting traffic.

I feel like I am losing motivation and am now getting confused.
Since I have clickbank products I am promoting, do I want to article directory submit and link to them or just link to my site? I'm just very mind boggled right now and want to be able to figure all this out and move on to my other hot niches I found through countless hours of NOT sleeping just to find them. :p

I feel like I am doing a lot correctly, but then I feel like I am not doing anything right at all.

My goals aren't that huge. All I want to do right now is make 30.00 a day. Should I bum market? Where to? Ezine, goarticles? Should I just keep promoting my SITE, or the product? See my confusion? Considering the products are ON my site now, I'm just a bit lost.

I'm also writing an ebook that goes along with my niche. It took me over 24 hours just to figure out how to set up opt in and autoresponders which I now have neatly placed on my site. ( thanks to you guys, I picked getresponse and stopped fooling with the free ones).

What would you do if you were me? The possibilities are endless, but I think I am on information overload. I really haven't walked away from my computer in four days. Consistently seeing no traffic and no sales is a bummer. I want to quit ( I won't), so I just keep reminding myself to be patient. As someone on here said "those who gave up had no idea how close they were).

And another question- I also bought another domain for a really "odd" yet hungry niche I found. When I found the niche, before I bought the domain- I checked clickbank to see if there was anything I could promote. There surely is and its a very hot item. I ended up with two choices- either pay A LOT of money to get the .com, or go with the .org. I got the .org. Right now, there is absolutely nothing on my site.

I don't want to make that site the same as my other. Meaning- I don't want to put tons of articles up regarding that niche. I basically want to make my whole website just one big fat review of the product and then link to the vendor page. Is that even a good idea? And, how would I make a review of a product I have never used? Just research it like I did the other products?

Just throw me some pointers. Perhaps giving myself a break from all this for a day would help me come back feeling better about trying to do this.
