Procrastinators lie to themselves...

I came across an interesting article in a local paper the other day.

The entire article is worth a read but here is one of the breakout points.

Procrastinators lie to themselves: "If I take it easy today, I'll be more in the mood tomorrow." Or, "I work best under a deadline." But in fact they are not more motivated the next day nor do they work best under pressure.
After reading this, I have developed a habit of asking a couple of questions when I find that I'm mentally 'double-clutching'.

What am I telling myself? And, Is that true? The answers to those questions have been revealing.

Anyhow, you can find the entire article here.

Procrastinator? Don

Let me know what you think.

    Haha. Very true
I remember once or twice that happened to me.
    -"Oh, I'm tired today, I can't concentrate. I better watch a movie"
-"Are you sure that you CAN'T? What if you try NOW?"
    -"Ok, I'll try"
and then, two hours later, I find myself having a lot of work done.

Oh Yeah, They surely do. Funny thing about it is that procrastinators never realise that they lie to themselves everyday.

They carry on lying to themselves, and on and on, and on.
