What is an Internet Marketer, a City Mouse or a Country Mouse?

Well, you know the story. But my version was a cat and not dogs Anyways,
What do you think an Internet Marketer is? A Country or a City Mouse?

A friend who works at a Government Agency told me that her son wants to be a country mouse when he grows up, after an Aesop fable her son learned at school. Then I ask my friend, what does she prefer, the City or the country mouse. "Well, country mouse of course."
I understand her perfectly.

But what about IMs?
The reason everybody wants to be Internet Marketers is because they long for freedom and a quiet balance life. They want out of that stressful and mundane life of a 9-5 employee. And they want to be rich of course, and fast.

Well, lo and behold... Internet Marketers has the most unbalance and stressful lifestyle. Specially true for the 1st few years of business.
We are always selling something, always looking for people to join our list, and we open our emails 50times a day hoping for some good news. Then maybe because of luck, talent, patience and persistence, we get to be successful. Finally, we get to buy things we can't afford back then and have more freedom because we hired people to do it for us.

Internet Marketers are City Mice because even though we become successful, the stress is always prowlling like a cat. Think about it, every time those gurus do product launches, they become stressful, they don't show it but trust me, in the 1st few weeks, those guys have trouble sleeping. After a successful launches, they' revert back to their Rock Star life.

That is the life of IMs. If you think that life is to harsh for you, maybe you are better off as a country mouse.

So, what are you? a City Mouse or a Country Mouse?
