    Personally, online, so far...

Why? Because I have a 9-5 job in a different field.

Online marketing is wonderful but I prefer offline marketing, so many ultra targeted ways to promote CPA and IM related services!

These two fields of marketing differs from each other, but if you try to compare these two, Online Marketing will have an edge since you can become your own boss and can set your own time for work. In Offline Marketing, you are the employee and would have to visit your office and travels to your office. I would say, online marketing is more okay.

in online marketing you are invisible to your customer, have time to reply, do not have the luxury of a second chance and has the world as your region. put the contradictions in offline and compare, you get your answer.

I'm a speaker so I do both. I have a high success rate when it comes to book/CD sales at my live talks but of course I need to get an audience first. That's where the online marketing comes in. So in my case, they complement each other.

Although online marketing is global, and my readership is global, I'm not convinced at this point just how valuable many of my overseas readership is so far. Many are from countries that just don't seem to be big consumers online yet.

I run a home based business which is completely portable so focusing on online marketing let's me be fully mobile globally......there are way more options but you need to keep learning and adding new things to make it work.....building momentum by sticking to daily tasks and being open to trying new tactics is a must to be successful online. Stick to white hat tactics to stay out of trouble even when an offer sounds appealing!

Even though i am in the online marketing business. Im finding our platform works best for offline marketers! And plus i think its very intersting how intertwined our offline work is becoming with online.

I dont see why we cant experience offline world with the help of the online one.

QR codes and easy site builders like ours should really make that a possibility.

I worked in an insurance company for about a decade and I have done alot of offline marketing on health products. I was very successful in marketing life insurance products. I recorded zero success in marketing piramid networking. One thing I never like in my offline experience is the way people treat offline marketers with disdain.
Online, you just work behinde close doors without any embarassment from any persons. For me, there nothing like it.

People are confusing MARKETING with BUSINESS. You can have an ONLINE business but you use OFFLINE and ONLINE marketing techniques to funnel customers to your offer. You don't have to pick one, in fact, you should use a combo of the two.

      That's a great point.

You could be totally set up to do traditional online offers from CPA networks but use methods like offline flyers to promote (will have varying success with those, of course).

Or, you could be providing online services to brick and mortar (offline) businesses, but market to them online.

It can all get very confusing! I think this forum is mainly about online business. Even those people who are providing services to offline companies are really doing the actual work and services online, or they are intended for online marketing.

      Great, great point...

  • I love ClickBank so I love online marketing. But I read a thread at the Main Internet Marketing section a while back that the OP made $3000 from ClickBank by doing an offline method.

So since I'm only doing online right now... I'd go with it. But who knows? If I get to move on to offline marketing, I might like it better.

Thanks for starting this thread, OP! Cheers.
