Even if there were such a software, if you wanted to procrastinate you'd just disable it.

Tip: Dedicate a mere 10-15 minutes of solid concentration to the main thing you want to achieve today/this week and see it in your mind as being completed and telling a friend about what all you did today/this week, and proud of having done it. From there you will just naturally gravitate along towards your goal, doing what you need to make it a reality, and eliminating procrastination in the process.

    1. do not wait for time to come; just do it
    2. If you know within that you are procrastinating then awake consciously
    3. Self motivation is very important for getting rid of procrastination
    4. Write daily plan on a piece of paper every night for the next day and carry on every single job listed there without fail, whatever happens
    5. Do away with the distractions- this is again related with mindset and your consciousness.

Your message contains affiliate link, it looks like an advertisement.

I just want to recall, that I'm still giving away my subliminal software for free (for warriorforum members only, for all other people its regular price is $39.95). And there is a set of subliminal messages called Stop Procrastination, so everyone can try. As I described in that tread, I have created that software myself and initially for myself, and I had great results with it. The link to that thread is http://www.warriorforum.com/mind-war...ware-free.html

  • The way I see things, if you want something enough, you'll go out and get it.

There's also the pain/pleasure factor. You have to condition yourself to realise that you're causing yourself more PAIN than PLEASURE by not taking action and procrastinating.

I recall reading that if you use the Greasemonkey script, you can block certain things out. You can probably find more about tools to stop procrastinating online though if you search for it?

    Q When did procrastination occurs?
A When you decided to work on a particular task and before you start doing it something else pops up in your mind and you click that pop up instead of sticking to work on hand. Also, it occurs during the time in which you're involved in the work. During a work time you may face a distraction in form of a phone call, an email notification, a desire to have an unneeded rest and so on.

Above are two scenarios where procrastination sets in and destroys your task list.

    Solution.
Procrastination is not bad as it occurs after you realize what you've to do and many folks stuck in deciding what to do. In order to win over procrastination you've to act against it like a professional in preventing procrastination. But the question is how shall we end or stop procrastination. And, in this regard, are all old advises good like disabling internet and phone, closing the door, putting the don't disturb sign? Indeed, they are good but our mind has a got a way to deceive us because it over the years shielded itself against such tools. So, we may need to find a new ways to stop it or a revision to the practices which we employ toward elimination of procrastination.

    New ways.
    1) Get a new PC without an internet connection
    2) A room without phone and a TV
    3) A room without unnecessary books
    4) A room where you can put on a wall in big bold letters your daily task list
    5) Not gaining more info or implementing a new idea unless an old idea or info is worked out successfully

I hope above may be of some help to you.

my top tip for stopping procrastination is to break the tasks into small manageable chunks that you can do quickly and easily . I am talking like 5 to 10 minutes to accomplish

It is better to do a little everyday and feel successful than not to do anything at all
