PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will.
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or late the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

  Love it! Thank you. And I would add that it is NEVER too late to start. Having gotten my doctorate in my fifties, and now starting on this new freelance writing adventure (almost ready to launch) in my sixties, I have never been more excited in my life!

I'm beaten.

Why?

Cause I only ever get conned or ripped off by people. To such an extent that my health and future is in ruins.

Why me? God knows? I've only ever been honest, hard-working and respectful? Maybe I'm just unlucky like so many more people

No such thing as fairness in this world.

uncmonk... do you think fate is picking on you? 99.9% of people in this forum have probably run across a scam and had to hear a thousand no's and even a few insults or put-downs about what they want to do. Those who fail stop trying, those who succeed keep going, adjusting, and moving on until that one thing finally hits.

Storge.. Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and hoping for different results... so if that is the case.. maybe change what your doing.. but still dont give up.
