Are you taking the wrong advice ?

Most times everybody else around you sets your boundaries for you

You don't know any better , you have never don't before so you just accept what everybody else is doing

There is wisdom in learning from others but most times the masses are being lmislead very well

Only 5 % of people are financially independent yet almost everybody has a job almost always guarantees that they will be broke in latter years

Most of the thoughts we have aren't really ours

We didn't come of the womb knowing how to think , how do deal with money

We got taught almost everything . We modelled others .We accepted their thoughts and they in turn set your boundaries

They tell what you can and cannot do .

Modelling can come from from your parents, culture , friends ,family and they may not necessary know any better either because somebody else gave them the wrong advice

If you follow the wrong advice you would arrive at the wrong destination

Advice is something giving very free but we must watch out for the ones that are worth having .

Take advice from people who already have the results you are looking for in your life

Right now, write down 5 things you can't do and challenge them and take massive action to exceed them

Just write

I can't-------------------------------(insert whatever comes to your mind )
I can't-------------------------------(insert whatever comes to your mind )
I can't-------------------------------(insert whatever comes to your mind )
I can't-------------------------------(insert whatever comes to your mind )
I can't-------------------------------(insert whatever comes to your mind )

As Tony Robbins said If you think you can't then you must

Great advice. You only can't do something if you can't do it even if someone put a shotgun to your head.

Good advice. I love to talk to my elders and learn from them. they know so much. And when I was younger I would just ignore them. I'm talking about granny and gramps, you know?

I also make it a point to read and to expose myself to information I'm not interested in. I just browse at the library and let anything that grabs my attention interest me.

Thanks for the words of wisdom!

      Glad you like .

You are lucky you still got your granny and gramps . they are late ...

It is a good happy to read and expose your mind to some good stuff ...

The best first hand exposure is hanging around incredibly wise people

A wise man once said "Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble."

Thanks for adding to the conversation

If you really want to find out the advice people give, try asking for directions to a new place. Many who will give you directions will be cork sure about themselves, yet the instructions will be like day and night in resemblance to each other.
