I have found that working hard seriously helps, but at the same time having hobbies helps increases productivity greatly. I enjoy playing music and working out as well, amongst other things like reading great books and so on.
When I am done with these and get back to work I am pumped up to start working again.

So if you have a similar mindset, share your hobbies and some of the things you do to take a break from work.

As much as possible, every after 2 hours, I walk away from the computer to relieve some stress on the eyes, walk on the porch outside to get some fresh air, or check out what my kid is doing.. etc...

Yes, exercising does pumps up the energy for another hours of work.

I love biking the most with my kid every afternoon.

I'm certainly with you in terms of working out and music. I also spend time with my Lhasa Apso dogs too which take me to another place besides work.

  • Agreed sitting at the PC too long each day is not healthy at all, especially for our all important spinal health and posture, plus it seems many are sunlight deficient.

I like reading on my kindle in the sun, occasional games, movies, doco's and learning new things
