Do you think there is a direct tie between books like Think and Grow Rich and making money? Or, do you think someone without any motivation or books can make just as much money online if they're clever and smart.

    Some people don't require external motivation from books to make money, they were just born knowing or figured it out quickly. But for the rest of us, myself included, reading motivational books does train your brain to think in different ways, and so far I have to say that there might actually be a tie between reading success stories and becoming one yourself.

    I think there can be a connection, at least for some people. I like looking at something in a new way and have found renewed enthusiasm at times after reading motivational wealth books.

    I don't think they are instant magic carpets to success, but that they can affect people to see things in a positive light and that may enable them to move forward.

      Pretty much all rich people I know don't read that kind of books at ALL,

      And for some reason, ALL the poor people that I know that think that someday they will be rich read those kinds of book.


      I'll come back in this thread in 10 years to say if they turn out to be successful,

    It's all about mindset and your beliefs about money and the making of it - if reading them helps you develop the right mindset, then there is a link.

    Some people seem to have that mindset anyway - di Richard Branson or Warren Buffett start out by reading such books? Dunno but I doubt it.

    And yep - if you write a good one, you'll definitely enjoy the link

    I think making money involves much thinking if you are going to grow rich but a smart fellow can still make the money nevertheless
