What are you biggest 'mental' challenges in home business?

Hey mind warriors. I'm an NLP practitioner and I'm working on some PLR articles esp. targeted at the home business industry. I was wondering, what is it that people struggle with the most in terms of personal skills required to be a home business owner? I would like my articles to directly address these issues. So far I thought about:

- a positive money mindset
- belief entrainment
- home business owners favourite self growth books
- procrastination
- sub-conscious fears and limiting beliefs
- popular and simple techniques to change you mindset

What does everyone else think?

I really want to make these articles the best material there is buy regarding home business mentality so would appreciate your help!

I will send review copies to a few people so if you leave a comment, you may be one of the lucky ones.

Also, how to people feel about links in articles. I'm thinking no but others say yes.

Focus is very important for me. I am easily distracted. Have it since I am young. When I work at home I always think about other things; laundry, cleaning, when my girl gets home. Things like that. Being somewhere else helps me to not be distracted by these useless things too much.
When I am working at home I do a lot of stretching, exercises, walking and meditation in order to stay motivated.

For me it was trying to explain to people what I did for a living.

"What do you do for a living?"
    "Internet Marketing"

Most people automatically thought I was scamming people and wondered why I didn't get a "real job."

Frustrating but well worth all the hardships.

I totally agree staying focused requires firm commitment. Since it is your business, you can take it easy and when you do that you open your self to failure...

I'd have to say for myself that definitely removing the thought of the strain of creating my own product would be. Perhaps my subconscious is telling me that it would take too long and be too cumbersome but yeah a lot of things I've thought would be very hard have actually turned out to be very easy..

A very strong self-belief is a huge challenge. Without that, all else is useless. Then procrastination sets in giving rise to sub-conscious fears and limiting beliefs.
To overcome these thoughts, a mentor or tutor is needed to guide the student in the right direction. A mentor, could be in the form of books, articles, etc would help to produce a positive mindset; give us those popular and simple techniques to change you mindset that you speak of.
It is most important that the newcomer does not feel abandoned or alone in their chosen occupation.
This is why belonging to a Forum such as this is so important.

Amen, you couldn't have said it any better my friend. Yes, that's exactly what is needed. A COACH. It is ridiculously hard to make any money in the IM niche if you do not have someone guiding you along the way. A coach can help you avoid so many pitfalls and mistakes because they've been through it all. That's why I love learning from their mistakes instead of mine, this was a great post pal.

Time blocking is the best way to keep on track. I can now get 8hrs of work done in 5hrs. And there's a free book available that is a great way to get started. www.pomodorotechnique.com explains everything... it stops distractions, gets rid of ADD symptoms and works!

One of my friends who created a WSO recommended the pomodoro technique, I haven't thoroughly tried it out yet, but I'm definitely going to. It's surprising how much productivity can be made when you cut down on distractions and keep a list to follow.
