Before you start wasting money on countless courses read as much as you can on this forum. There is a lot of gold in here.

In fact there have been big selling products created from the ramblings that go on in here.

Read and test what you've read.

Repeat.

Success will come over time.

i learned a ton from free sources.... blogs, google searches, right here on WF, Brad Callen's Free Videos taught me a ton about SEO

instead of looking for open advice on the forum perhaps it would be wiser to dig up someone competent and benefit from them one on one

You've definitely come to the right place.

There are quite a lot of methods out there, but the general gist in terms of niche market research and online Internet Marketing is to just find one method, stick with it, take action, and avoid spending money on too many products all at once. It's quite easy to get overwhelmed because there is so much information out there, so take it one day at a time. Apply what you learn, even if it doesn't immediately amount to anything, you will gain valuable experience in everything you do.

Some high-level basics of creating niche websites include:
- basic niche market research
- keyword research
- building a website (i.e., domain/hosting purchase + wordpress installation)
- designing your website
- adding unique and valuable content optimized with your targeted keywords on a daily basis to your site
- building traffic to your site
- monetizing your site (i.e. adding ads and/or affiliate products)

You make money from clicks or sales originating from your website. Again, I'm giving you the 11,000 foot view, but wanted to give you a basic outline of what you will want to start learning.

I request you not to spend money to learn anything that too if it is related to Internet. Internet itself is a free library, just Dig in, you'll get a lot. Listen, you'll get a lot of resource but don't get into all of them else confusion will strike you. You start reading SEOmoz(dot)org for SEO knowledge. Its totally free, First finish that & then I'll tell you the other step.

Start with, typing in any Search Engine

"What is SEO"

and then

"What is Online Marketing"

This forum is a good place to learn, but besides that, there are a lot of sources to learn SEO! SO dont hesitate and start searching!

If you want to do SEO...I suggest using social bookmarking sites (post your url there). Also, you should link your site to credible bloggers and have them link back to you. Then you can try to advertise on Google AdWords if you have the money.
