Imagining Self Healing

I wanted to share an excerpt from a book named The Power of Infinite Love & Gratitude by Dr. Darren Weissman.

Imagine Yourself Healed excerpt:

There's a power whose magnificence is everywhere.
We see it in every moment: in the sun, the rain and
children playing. We hear it all around us, from the depths of
silence to the crescendo of a symphony. From a fragrant
field of flowers to the freshness of a newborn baby, its
scent transforms our very souls. Every experience with
this power brings us closer to our authentic selves, to the
source of God - the Divine or collective conscious that's
within all of us. It's the essence of every moment...it is
Infinite Love & Gratitude.

We're always aware of this power, even though we've
numbed ourselves with food, alcohol, drugs, sex, work, or
relationships to make it easier to deny. In so doing,
we're fearful, lonely angry, and judgmental. In our
denial, we're bogged down on a dead-end, painful journey.

Allowing yourself to fully experience everything that you
see, hear, smell, touch, taste, and create while
acknowledging and accepting each resulting emotion, is an
opportunity to own your power.

I implore you to begin your healing journey now.

Take the first step! Break out of your comfort zone. Let
go of the belief that the state of your health - discomfort,
dis-ease, and dysfunction - is just "the
nature of life". Surrender the guilty conviction that
chronic illness is the price you must pay for sowing "wild
oats" when in your youth. Release the thought, feeling, or belief
that health is reserved only for the young, and that aches and
pains are a sign you're "getting old". Popping pills, receiving
injections, or submitting to unnecessary surgeries are only
temporary stopgaps. You may poke your fingers in a dam
that's sprung multiple leaks, but eventually there will be
an overflow, and the health that you were fighting so hard
to preserve will be lost.

Because your body is a self-healing organism, those aches,
pains, and chronic illnesses are actually a gift - a sign
that you can have vibrant health if you're willing to claim
it and do the necessary work.

I hope that gave you some food for thought...it did for me.

Thanks for sharing. for me all these ashes, ilnesses etc are the signals, that I'm not on the right way of behaving and even of thinking. If the soul is ill, body is ill too.

I agree...I'm in the process of unlocking those answers within me...dis-ease says it all...I haven't been at ease.

Very nice, I agree with all of it. Illness/disease is simply a sign that you are resisting and focusing on the wrong things. Just look at the word disease, dis-ease, you just need to get back into the 'flow' and out of negative vibrations Gonna check that book out now...

Its funny ever since i was a kid I never got sick even when the doctors said I sprained my ankle once really bad I was moving around on it like it was completely normal the next day. I always thought I'm to healthy to get sick, lol. Getting sick is a waste of time. I had no idea that at such a young age I was preparing myself to be so mentally strong with my health, and I'm great full for that. "I you think your sick you'll be sick... if you think you can't get sick you never will"

Thank you for posting this thread. This is something that I struggle greatly with because I come from a poor mentality family and I am struggling to believe that I deserve anything and that I deserve to be healthy and wealthy. I will work on this.

    Thanks for the post.

Your mind controls your body, so just as the saying goes we become what we think about.

So if you think a lot about illness or stress or ageing or pain that is what you will attract to yourself.

So be very careful to have positive predominant thoughts.

Also DO NOT say "I want to be well" as you will get what you ask for. You will get "a wanting for wellness".

You need to put the thought in the present, positive - eg. I have a body which is strong and healthy, right now.

    I hope that helps.

Take good care of hose that you love.

    This stuff really works.
In fact I healed myself from different long term ailments at least twice by regularly visualizing myself healed and adding some emotional light to the process.
