Is Jay Abraham the best business coach?

Some people say Jay Abraham is the best business coach. When I did a research on him, I found too much complaints about him. Unlike him, Tony Robbins, who is a life coach, has impressive reviews from people.

Is there anyone here who knows similar or better business coaches? Please, enlighten me.

Here's the thing. Jay Abraham is a high end coach. In my opinion he is more directed to the "movers and shakers", the people that are already making it happen to some extent. I believe he comes from a direction of having the expectation that you have evaluated yourself and are ready to make a change. Tony Robbins is a more universal coach. He directs certain efforts to people that are just realizing they need to change some things and he directs other efforts separately to people that are of a higher understanding.

I've followed Tony Robbins for a long time and listening to personal power is dramatically different than listening to some of his higher ticket live seminars. Different verbage and delivery.

If you are new to seeking mentorship I would suggest Tony Robbins. If you are in corporate management or in a professional type business I would say you could really benefit from Jay Abraham.

    Hope this helps you.

For me Jay Abraham showed me some insight I haven't thought about and I was making money online for 10 years. For that reason I have to agree with jrgattison and say you have to know what you are doing because it isn't basic stuff. However if you have a good concept about marketing, start by reading some of his ebooks. They will really help.

      That's right.

I read a few of Jay Abraham's materials, and they have really opened up my mind.

Tony Robbins is a great guy, but he is more of a universal coach than a business coach particularly.

Well his name is Nathan Keyes, his business is Rainier Coaching out of Seattle. He just started, so he's not popular yet. His rates are really good because he's new and as for his effectiveness, Ive been trying to make myself into a real IMer for 3 years and have had a Huge problem with procrastination, I started with him in June and have achieved more in the last 4 months than in the previous 3 years combined. I've gone from a place of permanent procrastination to feeling that it is inevitable that I will meet and exceed my goals. That being said, I've not had a life coach before so I have nothing to compare him with, but I'm pretty sure he is just what I needed.

Well I must say there are many top notch people in the industry and you can't leave out Brian Tracy for sure. I am going to say overall for strong business and life principals I have to highly recommend Jim Rohn. Simple, profound wisdom.

not worth spending for JAY's courses until you are prepared and know that after spending top dollar on the course you are going to actually implement it in real life.
Apart from that his courses are top notch .

Jay Abraham has 'moved on' from small/medium business consulting to take on large corporations. His work, business advice and strategies are thus more specifically geared towards that end as such.

I don't really know much about Jay Abraham (but now want to find out more!) but really like Tony Robbins.

I think it is good to have a specialised coach. Life coaching is great but there are coaches in every niche - finding one dedicated to what you want to achieve can make the sessions more focused. There are coaches who specialise in career change, confidence, dating, business, personal development, health and so on.
When looking for a coach I would check the following things:
    1. Are they doing (or have they done) it. So don't hire a coach for confidence who has no self confidence or a business coach who has never run a business! Some people say this isn't important, as they are coaching not mentoring but it is important they fully understand your aims and objectives.
    2. Have they produced results in others?
    3. Do they have a coach?! You always want someone who practises what they preach.

i like Jay Abraham a lot. However a coach is different from an author. A coach is someone I can have a conversation with, someone who I can talk to and give me advice on a personal level. Unless you get on the couch or on the phone with Jay Abraham, one-on-one, he's not your coach.
