"If You're Having Trouble Taking Action ...

Then this could be part of the “puzzle.” : )

Watch this video from Tony Robbins (including John Reese and Frank Kern) because (hopefully) you’ll have a greater understanding of why some people take action and others procrastinate.

According to Tony, often people don’t take action because of belief.

They don’t believe they can succeed. So they take little action (which creates little results) and then that reinforces their belief they can’t succeed. However when you do believe you can succeed you will take stronger action and the same “self fulfilling prophecy” happens.

That’s just one aspect, however. Watch the video for more advice.

Excellent video. I also find that 20-30% of my clients actually do take action once given the opportunity and always succeed even if they need some help. The rest go brain dead or I never hear from them again. A lot of people talk a big game about what they can or will do but when it comes down to doing it the excuses are endless.

It's a little more reassuring for me now that most of the people in this industry have the same problem with their clients. Even the biggest players in the game.

Thanks for the feedback. : )

With those 20-30% of people who take consistent action, what would you say is the reason for it? (Rather than those who procrastinate etc.) What are they doing different from the majority of people?

      Cheers.

In my experience the people that actually accomplish great things... that follow through and get results are always the ones that can keep a positive mindset in the face of adversity. They're also the ones who realize life isn't a 'solo mission' and that to truly grow and succeed you need to rely on the experience and help of others who have already overcome similar hurdles.

A few common characteristics of the most successful people I've worked with:

        1. They're givers - never the 'me, me, me' type
        2. When a project fails, they look at it as an opportunity - not a curse or a reflection of their abilities or worth (pick up the pieces, be grateful for the education and move forward).
        3. They move quickly - better to try a hundred things and have 90% of them fail than to have tried only 3 things and had a hundred percent of them succeed (you'll be way smarter failing 90 times and you'll also have 7 more successes than in the second case.)

Tony really has it nailed in most of his publications though - it all comes down to what you see when you look in the mirror - and lucky for each of us that we have the ability to see whatever we choose - whenever we choose...

Great video my friend, thanks a lot for sharing - I've only skimmed it for now - will set aside some time later today to digest it more thoroughly - I've seen pieces of it before, but it's always good to remind yourself of the most important techniques to focus on!
